| The government of Rasvidi today announced it's approval of the UPLA and it's formation. It hopes that the people of New Numair begin to change their ways for the better to elect a UPLA government in the upcoming election, and has not ruled out the possibility of normalization of relations with New Numair should the party be elected. | |

| [UPLA does have a chance to at least become a coalition partner in a government ruled by either the National or Royalist Parties, although upset victories do happen sometimes in elections!] | |

| Chairman Väinö Nakashidze has denounced the recent actions of the New Numairian government in the Motoa Island chains during a press conference held in Kabelinn. He has called the move unacceptable and a violation of the United Socialist States of Pokoteria and Alameria's right to national self-determination, which he says includes the right to govern the entire Motoa island chain. He has pointed to the Poko-Alamerian people's long established and culturally integral presence in the islands as establishing their sovereignty over the islands. Further, he has called the presence of the New Numairian vessels a clear example of the GWA expanding it's influence at the expense of non-GWA nations.
The Chairman has said that they will be dispatching ten destroyers to the islands to secure them for the USSPA until they are able to enforce their own sovereignty. In the interim, the destroyers will prevent New Numair from colonizing or landing on the islands.

| the Royal Government would like to re insure both Pokoteria and Alameria and Rasvidi that the naval ships are patrolling for security reasons and not looking for war. The Royal Government though, will not stand down claims of the right of ownership over the Motoa Islands. Once more the Royal Government would like to tell the government of Pokoteria and Alameria that Rasvidi is NOT a good nation to trust. | |

| Rasvidi would like to reiterate that it is not seeking war, nor will it make a declaration of war. However, if New Numair declares war on Pokoteria and Alameria, then Rasvidi will support it militarily. However, the government will not make the same guarantees should Pokoteria and Alameria be the one to declare war. As Rasvidi sees it, the territory already belongs to them and they would not have to go to war, except to defend themselves against an invasion from New Numair.

| [sorry for the delay!]
The Royal Government of New Numair led by Prime Minister Spencer Stanley has been re-elected to another term in quite a close race against the opposition Royalist Party.
here is the announcement of the general election
National Party (led by Prime Minister Spencer Stanley) (wins 58 seats in parliament)
Royalist Party (led by Leader of the Opposition Kevin TeKooti) (wins 49 seats in parliament)
Labour Party (led by Mike Horomeira (wins 12 seats in parliament)
United People's Liberal Alliance (led by Joe Jamison) (wins 10 seats in parliament)
the National Party is partying tonight as it has won re-election as the ruling party of New Numair. The National Party did not win the 61 majority it needed and now must seek a coalition with the UPLA coalition.
the Royalist Party is disappointed at the result, Opposition Leader Kevin TeKooti has said "I want to congratulate my opponent Mr. Stanley on winning re-election. I wish he has a successful second term. The Royalist Party though has won more seats then it was expected.
the Labour Party is happy about the result but Leader Mike Horomeira wished to have won more vote. He just like Opposition Leader TeKooti has congratulated Prime Minister Stanley and his party on re-election.
The United People's Liberal Alliance is celebrating after winning 10 seats. Leader Joe Jamison has announced "the UPLA will accept National's proposal on forming a coalition government and looks forward to working alongside them"
The regional elections though are taking a longtime to count out the precise winner and is expected to take another four days to announce the results of those elections.
