The Province has autonomous powers, which means that it has its own assembly and is the only province where a chief of a tribe is the Governor, he is called the "Grand Chief of the Island", the capital is on the north coast called Whangarei.

The province is named after the Wanganui River that flows through all of the province and is the longest river in New Numair. the Royal Governor is the head of the province.

The Autonomous Province of Kingi is a province of New Numair that consists of north eastern New Numair. the Province is the smallest one in New Numair. The Provincial capital of Manukau is the northern most major city in New Numair. The Province was granted autonomous listing due to the Peace Treaty of Manukau. The Royal Governor will be the head of the province, currently Chief Chairman of the Royal Province* is the head until the elections later this year.

The Autonomous Province of Oporiki is a province of New Numair that consists of east central New Numair. Oporiki is the second smallest province in New Numair. The Province just like Kingi, has been granted autonomous listing due to the Peace Treaty of Manukau. The Royal Governor will be head of the province, currently Chief Chairman of the Royal Province* is the head until the elections later this year.

The Province just like Kingi and Oporiki, has been granted autonomous listin due to the Peace Treaty of Manukau. The Royal Governor will be head of the province, currently Chief Chairman of the Royal Province* is the head until the elections later this year.
