| I'm jotting down what I NEED to do so that I can ACTUALLY do them and remember them... don't think these are final, and don't think I will pass them without RPing community's permission first. Enjoy! ^^ BOLD letters are DEFINITELY going to be addressed AS SOON AS I AM FREE. Others... meh.
- Technicality
- Spoiler:
- Restarting the History of Tiberiam... Tiberiam has had ONE too many people leave... cannot continue like this...
- "Regions" board for different regions
- Regional restrictions
- "Theater" subforums
- Theater specializations: negotiations, war itself, etc.
- Classifying RPs into different areas
- Explorer possibility for Space exploration and perhaps warfare.
- To add "I don't care" as a consideration in EVERY SoC decisions...[b]
- If too many "I don't care"'s are cast (as in 1/3 of total) in lengthy period of time (approx. 1.5week), the decision is considered superfluous and is scrapped.
- these decisions can be brought back should need arise.
- RolePlay Community
- Spoiler:
- Create Board of Neo Tiberiam (BoNT) to discuss new changes
- BoNT will oversee the creation of New Tiberiam Roleplay Settings.
- Things to discuss: Resource allocation, Land//Population, Regional restrictions, Terrain Naming, Lore Creation, etc.
- Create "Tiberiam Cultural Squad" (TCS) class and give privileges accordingly
- TCS will be given NO privilege apart from editing Databases... privilege that CAN be revoked should it be abused.
- TCS CANNOT have ANY major roles in the RP-management community (Includes Admin, SoC, and Cartographer)... Moderators (they REALLY do not have anything to do with management) and TNN manager (whoever he is now... he makes RP report biased, but no one seems to care for it...) is not included, since they have no actual power in the RP.
- TCS MUST be Advanced Roleplayer.
- Give Honorary RPers ability to moderate offshot RPs? (ex. Medieval RP)
- Potential Candidates: tba
- Create "Honorary Roleplayer" class and giver privileges accordingly
- Honorary RPer can be ANY Advanced Roleplayer... just another medal for yee ^^
- Honorary RPers have responsibility to "moderate" the RP... as in ensure that newer players are following the rules
- Honorary RPers have responsibility to include new RPers into the RP... be domestic or international.
- Honorary RPers have responsibility to make RPs interesting... that means at least ONE domestic RP event EVERY RL month.
- Honorary RPers have responsibility to update the database ONCE every RL month.
- Honorary RPers have privilege of owning more than normal number of plots... with RP (more than 2+mainland)
- Honorary RPers has privilege to petition for new Resource Plot of choice with RP (should HRPer be revoked of his/her position, these resource allocations will be automatically DESTROYED by natural disaster)(two per player MAX)
- Honorary RPers also will be given special consideration during all SoC decisions... meaning that their votes will count TWICE. (they will have to say "yes" or "no" or "I don't care" ON the thread, so that I know that they have voted in that location.)(or for some reason you want to vote in two different places... that will also count... one in each)
- To BECOME Honorary Roleplayer...
- Petition for such prestige... or be invited by it by SoC.
- Fill out the application
- Has to be Advanced RPer
- HAS to have stuck around the RP and ACTIVELY RPed for 3~4 RL weeks.
- Need to have Database updated to standard of Honorary RPer standard
- Final Approval by SoC and other Honorary RPers (if there are any)
- Honorary RPers can BECOME new SoC by vote of majority within the Honorary RPers should SoC leaves without warning and without a heir.
- Honorary RPers on LEAVE (inactive or applied for "isolation" will be stripped of Honorary RPer status.) This can be reapplied when the RPer returns
- No Prejudice will exist for previous Honorary RPers that have left the RP before... but favoritism by SoC can and will be counted ^^(jkjk)
- New Terrain
- New Resource Allocation
- Advanced//Casual RPers
- Advanced: can get items approved, can apply for "Leaders of Technology" thread, can adapt an Anonymous, can apply for normal amount of expansions (2+mainland), must be active in the RP and keep database updated every 2 RL month
- Casual: less demanding, but can only RP... (cannot apply for inventions, no spot in LoT, cannot adapt anon), can only apply for ONE expansion
- NPC: countries that does not RP anymore... can be controlled by ANYONE for whatever reason... does not disappear, but no reset should country return... unless want to start over the roleplay, which will be allowed
- Isolationist: countries that apply for lengthy time leave. Reset to default expansions (2+mainland)[should country had more than default], and become completely neutral/isolated... no other RPer can interact with this in any way without permission from the owner.
- All New RPers start from "Casual" and work way up to Advanced.
- Inactive Players will go down the rank... under discretion of SoC
- Ranks of RPers in Tiberiam:
From HIGHEST to lowest... no Mod classes listed - Honorary RPer
- Advanced RPer
- Casual RPer
- NPC
- Requirements to become Advanced from Casual (expect all old RPers to be able to do this): fill out Database as required (must have requirements and requested Database first), have stayed in RP for few weeks (2~3), played at least ONE international thread and THREE domestic thread (one HAS to be another country's thread), and approved by SoC or Honorary RPers (2+) or Admins.
- NEW: Desk of Da Wheel is now Voluntary... however, doing so (and actively participating in it) will be counted favorably towards your application to Advanced and Honorary RPers status. Also remember that ANYONE can apply for them.
- Explore possibility for Futuristic RP thread (same as Medieval... NO moderating in there, but whole lot of requirements to join and restrictions limiting certain things... RP roles still apply)
- Moderating Powers
- Spoiler:
- Database Moderation privilege to TCS
- New Laws
- Spoiler:
- Population-Potential --TO-- Land-Characteristic Law
- New Spending Law
- New Roleplayer Classification Law
- New Database Act
- Honorary RPer Act
- Tiberiam Cultural Squad Act
- Hell with it... I may make "NEW TIBERIAM DAMMIT" act to sum this up ^^
- Medieval RolePlay
(Suck it up guys! I'm still doing it!!!)
- Spoiler:
- Amount of soldiers MAX possible
- Amount of population MAX possible
- Joinability (application-only basis, not mandatory, parallel timeframe in Tiberiam, Advanced Roleplayers ONLY)
- Medieval RP rules

| I like what I see here, Osc. Also I'll probably need the HRP status to maintain my historical expansions. | |

| Do keep in mind, dude, that if we restart, we are ALL starting with ONE territories.
And for the sake of fairness, I am NOT going to keep "historical lands given free" policy. You get your inventions, your LoT, but that's it. However, if your country want to consider lands as your legitimate heritage and wish to crusade over the world for them, by all means... just saying that if that is the case, I doubt that Oscal will be too happy to see that (I realized that Oscal has grown something like a billion since our postponement. I am freaking massive, yo... not as massive as Isis, though)
Btw, guys, discuss!!! This post is created so that we can discuss all the changes that will be implemented BEFORE I make crap up, to save time. If there are something you REALLY want done or something that you REALLY HATE, then please post here in advance!!!

| Hmm... would fundamentalists go on a crusade? How about zealous communists? Perhaps zealous communist fundamentalists? Nah, they're too moderate.
That's fine. I'm content to start with my homeland again. Just remember that my country's ultimate goal is to culturally imperialize the world over. Also petroleum hegemony. And food. Maybe even pharmaceuticals, if I can get to it.

| O.o...
Well, you may never know what will happen with restarting maps and changing resource allocations. Regardless, you have quite an agenda ahead of yee.
Anyways, I am planning also on giving prestige as well as honorary systems. Medals like "Warmonger" or "Handshaker" and such things... it isn't final, but I started to amass pictures of medals...
I am also considering restructuring the RP class system to something with more levels... HRP will PROBABLY be the highest level, regardless, and you can still jump around if you so wish.
I guess the greatest merit in class system is that the RP will give more chances to RPers that have been faithful to the RP (because it takes longer to drop down to the rank of NPC), and give those who WANT to stay in the RP some kind of visual reward. So... my thoughts on changing the structure is...
Honorary RPer Ancient RPer (Expert RPer who has been active in the RP for awhile...) Expert RPer (Adv RPer who has shown exceptional ability to write.) Advanced RPer Devoted RPer (Max. Level of Casual RPer. RPer who has been contributing to Tiberiam A LOT) Active RPer (Casual RPer who has been active in the forums. I'm going post-wise) Casual RPer
[[the classes below Casual RPer...]]
NPC RPer (country that has no roleplay behind. Does not have ANY privileges apart from funding onself) [[NPC RPer can be controlled by ALL]] Anonymous (zero privileges, cannot request anything, cannot expand, cannot fund oneself) [[Anons are given in case-by-case basis]]
[[class that cannot be interacted...]]
Isolationist (countries that applied for a leave. Only exists in paper, and cannot be interacted in any way)
[[class that does not exist in paper...]]
Make-believe countries (countries that have been made up for the sake of RP. It could be done in ANY territories. Nomadic tribes or rebellion counts in this class)

| I think honorary RPers should also be the most powerful nations in Tiberiam. | |

| Well... it will become like that, actually.
But HRPer is not the STRONGEST nations in Tiberiam. You can be completely noob at RPing and yet have powerful nation... I think Hijima and Imperial Overlord comes into mind, although Hijima isn't really a bad example.
However, as time goes on by, in all technicality, if you do not graduate from Casual to Advanced RPer, you will only own mainland+one plot, and NO powerful inventions to call your own. So... eventually you will be left out in the arms race.
And if you thought that Advanced to Casual was a big gap... Advanced to Honorary is EVEN MORE of a gap. Infinite plot expansion opportunities, two extra resource plots can be found, and countless more possibilities! I am also thinking of giving giving HRPers privilege to join Futuristic RPs (if I make any) and so on, so HRPers have MUCH MUCH more privileges and have MUCH MORE fun in the RPs. Now, given, all you need is Advanced RPer status to do everything in the Tiberiam RP. HRPer will have SO MUCH MORE responsibilities that it won't be funny. So... I guess great power comes with great responsibilities.

| Oscal's revision chopping block list:
The Honorary Hierarchy System
The New Roleplay Act >>adding "theaters" >>adding database mandates >>legitimize innovation and patents
New Resource Act >>division of resources
The Secretary of Culture Mandate
Tiberiam Cultural Sqad Act >>privilege to moderate databases >>privilege to pre-approve innovations >>privilege to spin the wheel of misfortune
"I don't care" Act | |
