About Treaties and Treaty List

As they seem to have become popular of late, I've decided to keep a thread of the current treaties among Tiberiam nations.

To nations seeking allies, it is important for you to remember that what works for one nation does not always work for another. There are many different kinds of treaties and pacts. Some treaties are designed for military purposes, some for humanitarian purposes. Nations need to hammer out specific details that will fit their particular situation and the needs of their governments. Treaties with Optional Aggression clauses may be potentially devastating to a nation if they are brought into an international conflict that they don't wish to be involved in. While the clause is indeed optional, obligation generally dictates involvement in an offensive campaign. Other treaty types include, but are certainly not limited to, Mutual Defense and Aggression Pacts, which make it mandatory to get involved in conflicts, and Optional Defense Pacts, which are treaties of (more or less) good will toward an ally that you are getting to know. Please consider treaties carefully before making rash decisions.
