KingIsaac's shift of government?

When Queen Jeny signed Royal Act 3124, which removed Queen Jeny's power to dissolve the parliament, the parliament have made a plan so that they can be Kingisaac's Leaders.

"I say, it is now our time to re-claim our throne! I say, we should reign in this country because we are the one who worked hard to make it prosper! I say, let us remove Queen Jeny from power! And I say, we should have a federal government!" Prime Minister Stanley said in his speech.

"Why federal government? Why not republic?" Duke wellington said

"And why not just a constitutional monarchy?" Duchess Cherry shouted. Duchess Cherry is notable for her unending support for King Isaac. Rumors said that the Duchess and King Isaac has an affair.

"No. I guess, I'll just agree with Duke Wellington. We must have a Republic Nation." Prime Minister Stanley concluded.

The Parliament is still debating on the matter, and the bishops are praying that Queen Jeny will remain in power because if not, there will be a separation of the Church and the State.

It was a peaceful morning, except for the Royal Family and the Parliament.

"Today, we will debate and vote on the matter whether we should be a Republic or we should stay in Absolute Monarchy" Prime Minister Stanley said excitedly.

Each Parliamentarians was given a chance to have the floor, and the first to have it is Duchess Miriam.

"You are all the greatest morons in the KingIsaac's history! Why change the government if the current one is working? We currently have the greatest leader! And you want to remove her from power just for nothing?" Duchess Miriam said while waiving her hand angrily.

Then, Duke Wellington started his speech.

"We should end the reign of King Isaac's family for over 120 years. Do you want one person to decide on everything forever? They get free food, free movie tickets, they get immediate VIP access on everything, and they can spend the government's money anyway they want! We should be in a Republic so that the President will be changed once every 6 years. And in that way, abuses will be lessen."

Other Dukes and Duchesses followed. Some are pro- republic and some are pro- monarchy. Until after some hours, Prime Minister stopped the debate.

"The Parliament is in 30 minute break!" Prime Minister Stanley shouted while banging his gavel.

In the meanwhile, the supporters of Queen Jeny were having their rally along EDSA Road in Maynila City. They were singing the "God will save the Queen" and were shouting "Jeny stay!" while praying the rosary. It was also ordered by the bishops themselves that all Catholics who are pro- Republic will be excommunicated so they must support Queen Jeny, who was believed to have divine protection.

On the other hand, the supporters of the republic were shouting in front of the parliament building. Their shouts can be heard inside the parliament, which made Duke Wellington smile. They are shouting "Democracy for all!" and "Oust the dictators!".

So far, the two groups haven't met yet so no fights have occurred yet.

In line with the recent events, 20 KingIsaacians were killed in a fight of pro- Republic and pro- Jeny. It was said that the pro- Republics were the one who first throw the stone on pro- Jeny. Then, pro- Jenys fired gunshots and the pro- Republics followed. The police tried to stop both parties, but to no avail. Here is a scene of what's happening in KingIsaac:

The Church of Purity is orignally pro-EEE and now pro-HESS Christian Cult in Oscalantine. And as such, CoP stays relatively close to the affairs of HESS-Oscal relationships in international community. However, when the affairs of Christian Monarch was in perial, CoP decided that they needed to take action.
Despite the waning influence of CoP, the CoP still has enough influence to innitiate a Population Vote. The vote for Oscalantine to take aid Queen Jeny to keep her current regime.

Of course, this isn't the first time that CoP has innitiated a Population Vote. However, unlike other cases, there really isn't any opposition that can reverse the vote. Many cases CoP is against the corporate ideals, and therefore many of the Population Votes are reversed by Corporate propagenda and influence of the Judic-Executive Government. However, this case directly is in the interest of Nexus Incorproated, which has plans to work alongside KingIsaac in terms of massive MgO-III imports. Another factor into making CoP's vote a success is the NNN. The NNN has been reguarly showing news of the regime's change in KingIsaac. And as NNN is unbiased in the issue of KingIsaac, they have inevitably relased the news stating that the Republican side of the crowd have innitiated the conflict. And thus, the population's sympathy lies currently with Queen Jeny's regime.

Due to these factors, experts states that the Population Vote of CoP will end up as a success, and thus creating an issue where Oscalantine will support Queen Jeny's side of the government. The Population Vote will be in place next month, and with the vote complete, Oscalantine will start to support Queen Jeny's side of KingIsaac.

"What is wrong in my administration?" Queen Jeny exclaimed in her private office

"Mommy, nothing is wrong. Parliamentarians wants themselves to be the rulers of this country, so they are trying to remove you. But we have some support in the Parliament. The Duchesses are supporting you. Also, the CoP in Oscalantine is supporting you." Her son, His Royal Highness Prince Jeric told her mother, trying to comfort her.

"CoP in Oscalantine is supporting us?" the Queen asked.

"Yes. See, if we gained International support, we have a higher chance of winning. No international community have endorsed the pro- Republics. We'll make it out of this mess." Prince Jeric said.

"I hope so. I hope so." Queen Jeny said repeatedly.

The Edesu government was in a difficult diplomatic situation. The monarchy of KingIsaac was a steadfast ally of the HESS, as it had been for decades. Edesu leaders wanted to support Queen Jeny. The status quo was very good.

On the other hand, Edesus did not like monarchs. Communist Edes was born out of the violent overthrow of an 900-year-old royal dynasty, the longest continuous regime in Hiborean history. Nothing pleased Edesus more than seeing pious Catholics throwing off their chains of oppression. Perhaps now was the time for a KingIsaac republic.
The Executive Council, where all of the HESS's ministries determined government policy and tackled the crises of the day, had just ended. The Supreme Holy Technocrat, Jordan Kriegipaz, and Marcus Albinoni ate their lunches together and discussed the KingIsaac situation. "We must be very cautious," said Rebecca I.

"Most importantly, we cannot back the losing side," stated Minister of War Kriegipaz, "Supporting the victor's opponent would prove disastrous to international relations." He immediately returned to devouring his meal.

"Very true," agreed MFA Albinoni, "Until one side is dominant, we must remain neutral."

"Queen Jeny will be pissed," said Kriegipaz with a mouthful of food.

"The alternative might sever relations between the United Kingdom and Edes. We cannot have that."

"The Parliament is now in session!" Prime Minister Stanley said while banging his gavel.

The pro- Jeny tried to be the first to have the floor, but the pro- Republics rushed to the lectern and punched the pro- Jeny. The pro- Jeny were angered by this, so they smacked and spanked the pro- Republics. Then, the pro- Republics ordered their bodyguards to hold all pro- Jeny in the arm, which made all pro- Jeny defenseless and powerless, and the pro- Republics punched them and kicked them in the face.

While this was happening, Prime Minister Stanley hid under his table. What they forgot is that there were press in the Parliament Hall at that time, and they covered everything that happened in the Parliament. And because the press are all pro- Jeny, they showed it in the National TV and repeated it over and over again, until it was clear on all KingIsaacian that pro- Republics started the fight. And to make things worse, they showed a video of 5 pro- Jeny Parliamentarians being brought on the hospital because of many bruises and deep wounds.

KingIsaacians were all angry. Even the common KingIsaacian pro- Republics sympathized with the pro- Jeny.

And Queen Jeny took the chance. She delivered a heart-breaking speech and made all KingIsaacians sympathize with her. And some of the KingIsaacians asked for the impeachment of pro- Republics.

Will the charter change get killed because of this happening?

The Parliament restarted their meeting and held an executive session.

"Every table has a mic now. So, I guess, no one will hurt anybody again just to have the floor. And if you want the floor you can lick the floor we are currently sitting in." Prime Minister said.

It was rumored PM Stanley received a death threat from Her Majesty herself.

"Now, we won't have any debate, and we will go straight to a vote." PM Stanley said.

The Parliament voted on the matter. The voting system in executive sessions in KingIsaac is similar on electing a Pope.

"Aye, Nay, Aye, Nay, Aye, Aye, Aye, Aye, Nay, Nay, Nay, Aye, Nay, Aye, Nay, Nay, Nay, Aye, Nay, Nay, Aye, Nay, Aye, Aye, Aye, Nay, And I Aye. So, Secretary of the Parliament, what is the tally?" PM Stanley said as he read the votes loudly.

" 15 Ayes, 13 Nays and No Abstain. 20 Parliamentarians are absent" the Secretary said.

"Therefore, the Charter Change have passed the Parliament! We are now a Republic!" PM Stanley said loudly. Pro- Republics shouted loudly. Pro- Jenys cried.

The Secretary of the Parliament announced the result of the voe in the press. The press delivered the news a minute after the Secretary announced the results.

Women wept. Children cried. Many KingIsaacian doesn't like the result.

[Agh! This is just like real news. I have no idea where events will lead.]

[Could I know how the new constitutional monarchy will be organized? Will Jeny become a figurehead? How is KI split? Do regions lean in different directions politically? Which side has more popular support? Am I asking too many questions?]

[lol. Even I doesn't have the slightest idea what will happen. But I'm sure I'll have it when I eat my snacks]

"Oh my God! Oh my God! This ain't happening! I'm out of power?!?" Queen Jeny said hysterically.

"Well, uh, Your Maje--, Jeny, yes, you are out of power. I am very sorry but I did everything to stop the Charter Change but I can't because you didn't give me much power!" Prime Minister Stanley lied.

"I want to address the Parliament!" Jeny said to Executive Secretary Ochoa

Secretary Ochoa did not move

"I said I want to address the Parliament!" Queen Jeny shouted while crying.

"We are very sorry, Jeny, but no civilian are allowed to address the Parliament" Secetary Ochoa said to her

PM Stanley and the rest of the cabinet are hiding their smiles because Jeny look terrible, but at the same time afraid they will lose their jobs.

"I am no civilian! I am a queen!"

"Not anymore, Jeny! But because you've been a good leader, I will allow you to address the Parliament. Let's go now" Prime Minister Stanley told her loudly, it was almost a shout

Everybody went out of the room and headed for their cars. The PM and the Secretaries have bodyguards. Jeny was left in her office in the Palace all alone with no bodyguards. She cried. When she went to the Royal garage, her government-provided car was there, but there was no driver. When she was about to drive the car, a police stopped her.

"Excuse me, ma'am. But you are not a government offi--, Queen Jeny? Your Majesty!" Police Officer Robert said as he knelt before her.

"It's good you recognize me. Drive my car to the Parliament" Jeny said.

"As you wish, Your Majesty!" The Officer said.

Officer Robert was not aware that Jeny was already ousted from her position. When they got to the Parliament, there were many press. The press swarmed around Jeny, and none of her bodyguard was there to protect her. She cried remembering those times. However, Officer Robert told the press to back off, thinking Jeny is still a queen, so the press back off.

When Jeny reached the Parliament Hall, everything and everybody went silent. They felt guilty for making Jeny miserable. She was still crying, her make-up was destroyed, and it made her ugly.

She reached the Parliament bench. She banged the gavel and ordered everyone to seat. Nobody made a move. She shouted, and they took their seats. They were still shocked.

"What have I done wrong to you? I gave you your funds, and I even give extra funds to you. I made this nation prosper, which was very poor. Without me this nation will be worthless. This nation will not be respected. Why can't you just let me finish my term? Why don't you just continue this Charter Change after I die? So that everything will be transferred properly, just like the transfer of throne to a prince. Please! I am begging all of you! Please!" Queen Jeny said to Parliamentarians, who are all scared and don't know what to do.

"Then, Prime Minister Stanley stood and said, "What's been done has been done. Nobody can change it, except if it's unconstitutional. But what we've done is constitutional."

Queen Jeny was frustrated. She went out of the Parliament Building, and everybody lost tracked of her.

"So, now, how are we going to reconstruct our government? Do you want federal republic or just a republic?" Prime Minister Stanley said.

"We have already decided on this! We want a Republic of KingIsaac! Here, I have drafted our constitution!" Duke Wellington said while giving a bunch of papers to PM Stanley.

"But, well, ok. We'll debate on this and we'll vote." PM Stanley replied.

The Drafted Constitution stated that the President will serve for 10 years and cannot be re-elected. The President shall approve all bills before becoming into law. The President himself can declare war. The President may open/close government-controlled corporations and has full authority over them. The President shall be the absolute ruler in KingIsaac during his term. The Congress shall be composed of the House of Commons and the Senate. They may propose bills but cannot propose charter change. The powers of SC shall be absolute in hearing all cases and all motions.

Prime Minister Stanley announced that the Parliament had ratified the new Constitution.

The Commission on Elections gave noticed to all those who want to run for a public position that they have 10 days to file their candidacy.

"Mommy, will we eat leftovers just like the beggars do?" He son asked.

"No! No! We are still rich! And I will make sure we will be richer that our money will be enough for us until you have your great grandson." Jeny said to her son.

It was the worst day for Jeny, because it was her last day in office. Instead of crying, she did what she thinks is right. She signed a check of a government account worth $1 trillion. She transferred the money to her own savings account.

"Mommy, will we eat leftovers just like the beggars do?" He son asked.

"No! No! We are still rich! And I will make sure we will be richer that our money will be enough for us until you have your great grandson." Jeny said to her son.

"Now what do you want? A car, bodyguards, women, what? Jeny asked.

"I want to live in a mansion" her son replied.

It was not expected. All Commissioners of Commission on Elections was shocked.

Jeny filed her candidacy for President. She was with her son and 20 newly hired bodyguards. In front of the COMELEC, her convoy was there waiting for her.

To be an eligible candidate, the candidate must have the ability to launch a national campaign, in other words must have a lot of money. The Commissioners was about to tell Jeny her candidacy will be denied, but Jeny showed her passbook and it was obvious she has $1 trillion. They marked her candidacy as "Eligible and Accepted".

The voting for CoP has commenced. It was any ordinary day in Oscalantine, weekday, where everyone was working their hardest in their corporate world. The work in the automated factories have started, and the TriN network buzzed with activity.

Of the sudden, all the computers and PDAs in Oscalantine have simultaneously showed the same message: "Population Vote _0512." The announcement was voiced in all the media networks, "Good day, population of the Corporate, we have a Population Vote commencing. All companies are expected to take a short break to allow Oscalantine citizens to participate in this vote."

259 billion populous simultaneously accessed the Oscalantine's government website to vote for an issue that was raised. The topic was simple: "Should Oscalantine assist Queen Jeny in KingIsaac?"

The vote concluded after quick ten minutes. Counting the votes took little less than a minute, and the result was given to the Stockholders' Council, who have relayed the news to the Executive Board.

Thirty Thousand votes have been omitted due to various reasons, and five million people did not vote. Based on that result, approximately 56% of the population voted in favor of supporting Queen Jeny of KingIsaac. This was phenomenal result, as Population vote goes by the principle "one person, one vote." With such an overwhelming majority supporting in favor of Oscalantine government supporting Queen Jeny, the Oscalantine government had no choice but to support the ex-Monarch.

Upon several hours after Oscalantine's Population Vote has been launched and its results counted, Several shady figures entered Queen Jeny's residence. They did not speak to the Queen directly, but they left several letters under the bodyguards' care before leaving.

The contents in the letter was a small tablet, one in each envelop. These tablets respond only to Queen Jeny's combined codes of finger prints and voice recordings. The contents of the tablets are as follows:

The Malacanang Palace, which is now Jeny's residence, was owned by the mother of Isaac. It was specifically built for protection and leisure of Isaac's family. It has 20 bedrooms, each room already have a living room for visitors with a refrigerator and a bathroom. Also include the complete wardrobe where everything you can found there are ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000(designer bags and jewelries). The Palace also have a spa, offering all kinds of services being offered in a spa, from massages to pedicure. It also has a clinic, offering emergency services and can serve also as a hospital. The Palace is most famous for its library, which is also a museum, which contains many historical books and artifacts and inventions which cannot be find in any other museums in the whole Tiberiam and in KingIsaac. The Palace is also known for the "Royal's Restaurant", which is staffed with the best chefs around Tiberiam, for serving the most delicious food in KingIsaac and maybe, in the whole Tiberiam. It only serve food to Isaac's Family and people authorized by Jeny herself. And it has 3 swimming pools, one for staffs, one for adult Royals, and a kiddie pool. If the Palace is complete with leisure amenities, it is also complete with security features. It has its own weather broadcasting system and an early warning system. It has a heavy security system, on which, before you can enter the Palace you need to undergo through a retina scan and a fingerprint scan. Every gate, door, ceiling, wall, and even the ground in the Palace is bomb-proof. For an earthquake to bring down the palace, it would need to be stronger than magnitude 12. There are 25 guard stations. There are speakers and red lights in every corner, for emergency. The doors can be locked and additional shields can be deployed through a computer in the security room where only Jeny and her very loyal Chief of Staff can access. It also have a secret room to serve as the evacuation room for Jeny's family if the needs arise. The Palace is equipped with 5 tanks, 3 jets and missiles, because it was formerly a military base. And all of them can be used at Jeny's discretion.

The guards gave Oscalantine's letters to Jeny in her office. She smiled while reading them.

"I'll make sure KingIsaac-Oscalantine Relationship will be my priority when I'm seated as President." Jeny said with a smile.

"That's good. I really like Oscalantine. I once secretly had a vacation there and they are very modern." Her son, John, said.

"Majesty, Oscalantine, including its corporations and the CoP, have donated a total of $120.270 billion KI euros. They also sent 35 additional bodyguards, which is now at our disposal." Chief of Staff Rosenberg said.

"Good. The 35 bodyguards sent to me by Oscalantine will guard my son and also me. So my bodyguards will be 50% hired by us and 50% given by Oscalantine. I heard they are the best." Jeny said

"So, Majesty, whenever you take a walk you have 50 bodyguards with you?" Rosenberg asked with a smile.

Jeny, who was unexpected by the people, knocked on every doors and started a small talk and asked everybody to vote for her. Everybody was shocked and thrilled. People say, "Am I really seeing the Queen? I mean, the greatest ruler?" and "AHHHH! Daughter, get our camera! The Queen is here!". Jeny's campaign strategy was excellent because no politician have ever talked to common people for the first time.

When Jeny started to be surrounded by a very thick crowd, and her bodyguards are already pushing them harshly, Jeny stood on the roof of her car and shouted, "Hello everybody! If you will vote for me for President, your concerns will be truly heard by the government because in my term, my officials will come to your houses and asked you if everything is alright and what can we do to help you, and we'll see if we can really grant your requests." Everybody shouted with joy. Jeny still has a charm because of her beauty.

Then, Jeny rode in her car and opened the window and as it runs, waved at everybody and asked them to vote for her.

"The people like her!" Duke Wellington exclaimed at Prime Minister Stanley.

Duke Wellington have just filed his candidacy for President an hour after Jeny filed hers.

"Well, why don't you go and do the same thing? Knock on everybody's door and have a small talk and asked them to vote for you?" Stanley said

"Do you want me to be stoned to death? they know I am the one who started Jeny's impeachment! Their Queen's impeachment!" Stanley said

Stanley opened the TV. Jeny's campaign advertisement was showed. It was so catchy and good Stanley would have vote for Jeny if Stanley didn't turn off the TV. The ad showed Jeny with the common people, showed her caring for the sick, showed her watching the Nuclear Reactor's Construction, showed her when she was in a war with Rasvidi, showed her in a mass, and showed her making everybody happy. The advertisement was directed by campaign specialists sent by Oscalantine.

Jeny asked all bishops to asked all Catholics to vote for her, which was granted. There are also special masses being held to pray for her victory in the election.

Jeny also asked HESS to endorse her in public, because contrary to what HESS officials think, Kingisaac allies opinions are highly valued in KingIsaac.

The TV was bombarded with Jeny's campaign ads. All TV Stations signed a contract with Jeny that on every commercial break her ads shall be shown twice. It was worth $5,000,000,000 because there were 60 TV Stations in KingIsaac.

All DJs in all Radio Stations publicly endorse Jeny. Not only that, Jeny's ad can also be heard after every song. And instead of "This song was brought to you by [DJ Name]", it is "This song was brought to you by Jeny! Vote for her!". Jeny paid them $1,000,000,000

Even though she have many ads, she didn't stopped there. She ran many motorcades with the most famous actors and actresses of KingIsaac. She is very well popular in public.

"Damn you! You're not thinking! Of course, she's formerly a queen. She had unlimited access over our treasury! Where else do you think?" His sister replied

"Damn it! how much is our money?"

"I want you to hire the best assassin you could ever find. We must assassinate Jeny at once!"

They didn't know that a maid was listening. The maid reported what she heard to Jeny's Chief-of-Staff.

The recent instability in the nation of KingIsaac created a bit of a stir within the Protectorate. Officially, the government gave no opinion on the matter, however it can be expected that they are in support of the republic and its future democratic values.

When asked whether or not the Protectorate would intervene in KingIsaac's affairs, Lord-Assembler Augustus Voralis responded that it was "highly unlikely" and that it the Protectorate is not interested in "jeopardizing the sovereignty of a mutual friend". Many high-ranking politicians have also made similar responses, though making an effort to not support either faction. As it stands currently, the Protectorate has no plans to send aid to KingIsaac.

Following a quick survey conducted by an organization independent of the government, 61% of the citizens interviewed said that they had no interest in the KingIsaac insecurities and the government should definitely not get involved. Hardly a suprise when you take into account the isolationist and pro-Protectorate mindset that has been drilled into nearly every citizen during the last fifteen years when the Protectorate officially withdrew from international politics. The ones who did give an non-apathetic opinion mostly supported Queen Jeny who they believed had the best interest of her people in mind. It's very apparent that if the "Republicans" remain in power there will be an extremely rough transition.

The first non-governmental organization to give an opinion was the National Laborers' Union. The NLU currently represents 87% of the Protectorate's working class as well as the majority of its corporations. They actively lobby for the interests of both groups and serves as a mediator when conflicts between the two arise. They have a history of holding considerable power in the National Assembly backed by powerful politicians such as Voralis. Due to his questionable response to the conflict in KingIsaac, it is rumored that the NLU may strip him of membership, definitely a striking blow given their influence in the general populace.

Director Rush Vane of the NLU called the rumors "fictitious and erroneous" and that "Mr. Voralis is a honorable man. As well, he is a very esteemed member, no wayward comment would destroy his standing with the organization". As for their stance on the issue, it seems as if they are pro-Jeny. A representative of the NLU said that "This new republic will only oppress their citizens. From this it is without doubt that they will take the example of the HESS and set up a communist state. As everyone knows well. . . the NLU is strictly against communism."

Corporations based within the Protectorate support the NLU's decision, which isn't all that surprising.

Several other letters were sent into KingIsaac, easily reaching their intended audiences, with various security measures against interception.

Hey Queen Jeny! Or is it just Jeny now?

Whatever. I can probably assume that you've gotten a bunch of these letters already. Probably quite a few people supporting you, condemning you, but what can you do?

Well,anyway, I doubt you know me, since I'm rather sure you've never met me. If you ever did then I must be suffering from amnesia forgetting that I met you! Name's Rush and I'm the director of the National Laborers' Union. I doubt that really rings a bell for you, since we have absolutely no influence in KingIsaac. Well, in the Protectorate we do.

Which leads me to write this letter. I really can't believe that they ousted you! I don't doubt that they thought they had good intentions (though the same could be said about an idiot when he repeatedly bangs his head against the wall), but well. . . it was uncalled for. It is ridiculous that they would do this to you, especially after all the sweat, tears, and even blood you put in making KingIsaac one of the most prosperous nations in Tiberiam.

That's why the NLU is offering you their support. If you are in need of anything, all you need to do is ask (be it monetary or otherwise). Anytime you choose to visit the Protectorate (we have great skiing!) you will be regarded as a friend.

As you probably already know from experience, Oscalantine is unpredictable, due to the corporations that rule over them, and any alliance made with them is pointless since they disregard interests that do not regard profit.

Your great nation will quickly be stripped of their national resources. At the very brink of your economic collapse, Oscalantine will pull out, lick their fingers and leave you to wallow in your own destruction. That is why it is crucial for Jeny not to win the election, otherwise, there will be disastrous results. The Protectorate is interested to preserving the sovereignty of most nations within Tiberiam, including yours. That is why we support your cause.

There is a 92% chance that Jeny will win the election, but fear not for there is still a chance to redeem yourself. However, from your actions as of late, it seems as if you have nearly surrendered to Jeny. Don't, for it is not in your interest, nor ours. It seems as if Jeny is using funds acquired from your treasury, this is a problem, but you can capitalize upon it. I doubt I need to elaborate on it, but I'm rather sure that the populace won't be very supportive of her when they learn she is using their taxpayer's money for her own personnel use. Acquire television and radio stations, seize the ones you cannot, begin to broadcast legitimate propaganda against the former queen. Use your imaginations.

The Protectorate will not spare any capital towards your cause. Though we have the means, we cannot let the international community know (especially Oscalantine), that we are supportive of your cause. I should assume that is completely understandable.

If you choose the path of civil war, then the Protectorate lends a "blank check", even if it comes to war against Oscalantine. We stress that you don't travel upon that road, but if it is inevitable, there is nothing that can be done to prevent destiny.

Concluding the recent condemnation made by Oscalantine, the Protectorate has made no other comments concerning the problems in KingIsaac, but they made sure to stress that Oscalantine has every right to conflict with any form of government within Tiberiam, as well as any government can readily do the same to Oscalantine. No other comments were made.

It was the election day. The day everybody have awaited.

Jeny prepared herself to go to Election Center to vote. She wore her best dress and used her best perfume.

"Madame, we will double your bodyguards because we have receive reports that Duke Wellington hired an assassin to kill you." Fink said

"Oh sure. And by the way, I want to use my limousine" Jeny said

"You mean, the Eagle? The limousine that it is fitted with military grade armor at least ten inches thick, and the wheels are fitted with run flat tires that makes the vehicle drivable even if all tires are flat at 100 mph for 3 hours. The vehicle's fuel tank is leak-proof and is invulnerable to explosions. The engine is equipped with a Eaton Twin Vortices Series 1900 supercharger system. Due to the thickness of the glass, much natural light is excluded, so a fluorescent halo lighting system in the headliner is essential. The outside crowd is only heard through internal speakers. The car is perfectly sealed against biochemical attacks and has its own oxygen supply and firefighting system built into the trunk. Unseen at a glance are two holes hidden inside the lower part of the vehicle's front bumper, which are able to emit tear gas. The limo is equipped with a driver's enhanced video system which allows the driver to operate in a infrared smoke environment. This driver's enhanced video system also contains bumper mounted night vision cameras for operation in pitch black conditions. It also contain expensive audio players, televisions, video players, and bars, with refrigerators. Damn, I want to ride that limo, too!"

"Watch your words. Sure, you can ride the limo. It can seat seven people. And I want you to work with Toyotas once I'm seated to create me a better limo."

They rode the eagle and went to Election Center. The crowd was shouting, "Jeny for President! Jeny for President! God will save the Queen!", hoping Jeny will hear it, but she can't hear them. She can see them through the black-tinted glass, but she doesn't care at that time. She was watching her favorite TV show while drinking a glass of wine. When the driver said they are already at the Center, Jeny chewed a gum first and prepared herself. Then, she went out of the limo and waved at the people.

She went inside the center and voted for herself. After that, she went to the people and shook hands with them. She asked them, for the last time, to vote for her. Then she went back to the limo and continued watching TV. She was so tired of the campaign. She needed to relax.

[Damn, Queen Jeny is probably the wealthiest person globally.]

The Church had managed to lobby enough to get a papal bull a day before Queen Jeny's election. Now all that was left was advertisement. During the depression, the HESS had had to wholly defund its foreign bribery budget. Now, back in prosperity, the bribe money could flow again.

Drawing from the foreign bribery budget, the HESS financed its own ads on KingIsaac's ten most popular TV and radio stations. The message was simple: the Church likes Queen Jeny, Edes likes Queen Jeny, all of KingIsaac likes Queen Jeny, and PM Stanley is an agnostic.

[No political campaign is complete without at least one baseless accusation.]

As it was on the Constitution, the archbishop of Maynila will give the key of authority to the new President, as a sign of the approval of God of the new government.

The COMELEC counted the votes, re-counted it, and re-counted it again. The Commissioners themselves re-counted the votes. The result was bad for them. They will be ousted from position.

Both candidates hurried to the Maynila Cathedral where the result will be announced, and after the announcement the winner will immediately be sworn in and he/she will receive the key of authority. The Maynila cathedral was full of supporters of both candidates. But when the archbishop appeared, they all become silent.

"Through the power vested in me by God, I hereby declare that the winner in this election is Queen Jeny, I mean, Jeny, and she is now the new President of the Republic of KingIsaac, having 120 million votes. While her rival, Wellington, received only 1 million votes."

"Jeny, receive this key of authority, which symbolizes your legitimacy in position and you absolute authority over KingIsaac, and the approval of God of your term. May God bless you!" the Archbishop said.

Jeny was teary-eyed. She regained her lost glory. As she was holding the key of authority and shaking the archbishop's hands, the archbishop saw a man wearing black with a gun pointed at Jeny. With desperation, he covered Jeny with himself to protect her. The assassin fired his gun, and shot the left lung of the archbishop. The bodyguards immediately shot the assassin and covered Jeny and the archbishop. The bishops immediately surrounded the archbishop and prayed for him.

An ambulance arrived. The archbishop was brought to the nearest hospital

Despite the doctors' efforts to revive the archbishop, it was too late for them. The archbishop had died.

The Papal Nuncio stood in the balcony of the hospital, and he saw the people praying for the archbishop. He grabbed the mic and said, "My brothers and sisters, I have a sad news. His Eminence have returned to house of the Father". the praying stopped, and some cried. They have lost their guide.

President Jeny immediately took office a day after the announcement of her victory. She appointed her secretaries and issued several executive orders. And since the President has investigative and arresting powers, she issued warrant of arrests for Prime Minister Stanley and Duke Wellington.
