Expansion of KingIsaac

The Royal Nation of KingIsaac sent 400,000 soldiers, 20 tanks, 5 cruisers and 100 priests to the PLOT 10. 1,000 soldiers of KingIsaac died, and 8,000 people residing in the PLOT 10 was killed. The remaining 20,000 people residing in the PLOT 10, willfully pledge allegiance to the Queen and allowed the priests to baptized them.

Queen Jeny named the island "Roman City".

1. KingIssac's RP is in clear violation of autoplay. It is common courtesy to allow other nations to interfere.

2. The territory expansion bill is in process, and currently all claims are postponed. So you would have to wait either case.

3. KingIssac did not read the posts before posting this. Otherwise KI would have known that Hijima already has forces in Plot10 at the moment.

4. KingIssac's country is currently fighting a plague. There is no way that a country in such condition can muster a force fir an aggression. There isn't enough money or manpower to do so. Therefore, the soldier figures and war itself seems invalid.


If KingIssac does not heed these complaints, then I can certainly RP an act of war against KingIssac to give this land to more suitable person, like Isis and Hijima, who have been following due process to obtain Plot 10. ( and I cannot believe I'm saying this, but especially hijima)]]

[1. No nation controls this land. He can easily capture it.
2. The cartography will wait. This does not matter.
3. Hijjma has left the RP. His lands are vacant.
4. The plague has only affected two cities. The overwhelming majority of his nation is up and running. Also, his manpower and wealth is very comparable to your own. Both of you may expand.

The figures and war itself are valid. The SOC will back me up on this.]

But the figures, I'm afraid, are not valid. Sure you can theoretically dispatch an army... But why will you? In fact who wages war when there is plague on the lose? And keep in mind that these cities are major epicenter for KI... And when cities are infected, in all reality the plague spreads everywhere in the country. And also keep in mind that the sheer capital spent on relief efforts will make KI's assets go under. You have to pay for medication, refugee camps, supplies... Etc. This added with the fact that these two cities... Btw, cities pay most taxes in any country... Are unable to function and thus cannot pay taxes or produce goods, KI's economy is messed up. How in the world will you fund an aggressive warfare?

And I am just appalled at how RPers don't even think about the people in the country. They have needs. And media will go heyday over you if you don't satisfy the people, and you face chaos and anarchy... So yes, the numbers are figuratively valid, but in realistic sense they are not... Well, unless KI wants to be facing severe depression and political ubrest for a few years...]]

[Let's review.

The disease is extraordinarily deadly. Let's assume 80% of cases result in death. Let's also assume the disease has quadrupled in infected hosts in KI.
4[.5/.8] = 1.25(2) = 2.5 million infected

What percent of the population is that?
250/162.3 = 1.54%

OK. That's bad but not anywhere near the levels of the plagues of history. This also assumes a incredibly high rate of expansion. I believe it would be extremely reasonable to RP a recession, perhaps a major recession. Nonetheless, all the aspects of government, business, and society will continue running (including the military).]

So you use your resources to expand instead on citizens stricken with the disease? I hope a meteor hits your country. Speaking of which...

You must understand that we only allow your doctors to enter in 2 cities because in other cities, 5,000 doctors are being deployed and the situation is under control. Besides, if a city is stricken by a disease, it will be automatically put in quarantine. You must also understand that because of our military budget there are sufficient doctors to heal all soldiers affected by the disease.

I do not like this move at all. The glaring issue of a dying population and an uncaring government stands at the forefront of this issue.

In RP, people always look at their map and say, hey! I can expand! I'm legally allowed to because I only have (0-1) expansions and I'm allowed (1-2) more! However, they take no heed of the realism that RP needs to convey. Just because your finances say you have $12 trillion to spend, that doesn't mean you have it there ALL the time. Money is spent. Money decreases. The same goes with population. KingIsaac, your population is being ravaged by a deadly plague that has killed millions. You are LOSING population for the sake of RP. While losing population doesn't necessarily detract from your plans to expand, it is something to consider. You have a plague running rampant. You should be diverting tons of money and tons of personnel to curing this plague and not worrying about a plot just to get your hands on Uranium. From an RP standpoint (and nothing against you IRL), that would make me question the moral judgement of your government.

I think the biggest issue is that people just assume money is infinite and so are people.

With Hijjma's departure, Plot 10 is free to be expanded upon. KingIsaac has the right to expand and the realistic resources necessary to expand, despite the plague. Is it a terrible idea? Given his current plight, absolutely. Do I agree with it? With plague? No. Without plague? Have at it.

All that said, it IS possible and I will have to OK it.

But really... I feel bad for the citizens.)

[I am not advocating KI's policies. I simply believe they are within the realm of reality and should therefore be respected.
As for media, my nation's press is likely much freer than yours.]
