imperial rebels

there has been a rebellion in the cities of my nation over the government change from empire to peoples republic i would like some help please.we would do this ourselves but we just lost to many men from a recent war military casualties-50,000/civilian casulties-45,000

these rebels are dissenters who did not like our change in government and wish to restore the old empire.they belive all nations that believe in free speach or any freedom are corrupt and must be stopped.

the senate was in shock about the rebels in various towns.during the discussion they all decided at this time with low troops they would have to contact other nations for aid.

After reading of the Rebellion in East Germania in his morning brief President Carlton was shocked. He believed that the new government of the nation was good as it gave more rights to it's citizens and was amazed the rebels would want to restore the ways of the Old Empire. Also, after hearing that these rebels were trying to stop any nations that give there citizens liberty and freedom he knew that if they wern't stopped now they would destroy the new ways of East Germania. Also, as liberty and freedom are at the foundation of the Gracealonian way of life, he knew that if the rebels took over Germania, Gracealona being just across the sea, it would likely be the next target. Yes now was the time to act, before the rebels got too powerful.

Carlton called his Secretary of Defense in for a meeting. After a few hours they had made a plan to use every availible military asset to stop the rebels in Germania. Operation "Deliverance" would launch at 0600 hours the next day. The plan was realitvley simple. Five fleets of ships including an aircraft carrier would sail to 10 miles off the coast of Germania. As they patrolled up and down the coast the carriers would launch fighters, bombers and attack choppers which would fly inland and attack rebel troops from the air. After they completed this they would return to their respective carriers and re-fuel and re-arm. Then they would launch again, this time their objective would be to secure Berlin's largest airport. Once the airfield was secure it would serve as an HQ for the Gracealonian forces. Transport planes would fly into the airfield carrying troops and tanks, 90,000 troops and 500 tanks would land and begin spreading out and fighting the rebels across the nation. As they fight the aircraft from the carriers would continue to provide air support. Also, there would be 15,000 more troops on standby in-case more support is required.

After the plan was set Carlton picked up the phone and called the capital building in Germania to get approvel for the plan to be set in motion. He listened to the phone ring and waited for someone in Germania to pick up...

after the senate discovered that gracealona was planning on support they were relieved. the east germanias army began moblilizing to hold off any rebel attacks until allied support arrived. 2 army divisions on the way to their destination came across a massive imperial force containing at least 35,000 troops. seeing this the divisions engaged with all 40,000 of their troops and the 2 forces fought all night.
with 3,000 casulties for the imperials and 2,500 for the republicans.the 2 forces did not engage for another 2 days as the republic was waiting for supplies from gracealona.

meanwhile the imperial forces leader led 40,000 troops to besiege the capital.

The Gracealonian fleets arrived at their designated patrol areas two days later. As soon as they were within range helicopters and fighters roared off the decks loaded with weapons. As they reached land the Germania forces would no doubt be overjoyed to hear Gracelaonian aircraft overhead. As soon as they were sure the airspace was secure they gave the all clear and small transports from the carrier began to drop suppplies down to the Germania forces. As soon as they had left the attack choppers and fighters began attacking the rebels.

while imperial morale plunged down the republican morale skyrocketed.the imperials tried to retreat but were quickly wiped out by the combined gracealona-germanias forces.the soldiers celebrated their victory and prayed for the 4,000 men lost in battle but knew they won a major victory.

the following day they were called to defend berlin after hearing imperials attacked the city. the general realised if they could capture the rebel leader they could end the war with minimum casulties.so they headed to berlin.

After hearing this the Gracealonians began to prepare to help with the defense of Berlin. The fighter jets, bombers, and attack copters re-fueled and re-armed on the carriers and would launch as soon as the fighting began. As they prepared C-5 and C-17 transport planes began landing in East Germania and un-loading. After a few trips across the sea the transports had brought the total of 90,000 Gracealonian troops and 500 tanks to join the fight.

aided by the gracealona army they all headed to berlin to fight the rebels. when they arrived they found a massive rebel army. the general decided that the only way to win was to attack from behind and catch them off guard.
the general ordered his men that were currently in position to fire at the enemy. when the enemy realized they were surrounded they began to flee or were killed by gunfire. in the confusion the imperial leader was shot and any remaining enemies ran into the forest eventualy fleeing the country completly.with the rebels crushed the republic offered its upmost thanks to gracealona.

the republic would be destined to remain for another 3,000 years.

When Carlton heard that the rebellion was defeated he was overjoyed. The Gracelaonian troops returned home after a loss of about 15,000 troops and pilots. As the last Gracealonian ship left Germania all it's sailers stood around the deck saluting to the Germanian soldiers. The ship then proceeded to blast it's horn as a way of saying farewell to Gracelaona's new allies.

Afterwards a memorial service a celebration was thrown in Gracemaria, the capital of Gracealona. The celebration honored the dead, but more than anything celebrated victory & Gracealona's new allies in East Germania. In a speech at the celebration President Carlton said "The motto of our great nation is, "Stand Together and Prosper". I feel that our success in Germania is a tribute to this. We stood together with our new allies in war, and came out succesful. And I hope that in years to come our two nations will prosper together"

Soon after army & navy units were tasked with hunting down the rebels that had fled Germania into other nations. An estimated 70% were caught and now serve war crime sentances in Gracelaonian Federal Prisons. Another 12% were killed and the other 18% continue to be hunted down. What came to be known as the "Germania Conflict" was a tribute to the might of the Gracealonian military, as well as Freedom and Liberty.
