Hijima Island Conflict

Edo Edi Essum will beigin its expansion into Plot 4 today. All 100,000 soldiers stationed in Ruzslava and 5,000 of the soldiers in Sankta Vak are being redeployed to Plot 4. Another 895,000 soldiers reinforced them in Plot 4, christened the Western Front. The force of one million army soldiers, supported by the Seventh Fleet, quickly captured Alicante. Control of the entire island will take time.

The Royal Government of New Numair, would like to offer its support to Edo Edi Essum if it needs help economically and/or militarily,

"SpecOps Recon3, what is your status? Over." The man spoke into a walkie talkie, wearing dark clothing and dark face paint. He was peering through binoculars, hiding in the bushes on a hill above Alicante. He was observing troop movements into and out of the city. There were no markings on his outfit to indicate his nationality, but he spoke fluent Saamic. Indeed, he was on an espionage mission for the Rasvidi military. There was a cyanide capsule located in a pouch near his chin. If he was about to be captured, he had been trained to swallow it.

"SpecOps Recon3 to SpecOps Recon1, Papa Alpha Romero Imperial Alpha Hotel ready to proceed. Over."

"Affirmative, Recon3. Calling the eagles in. Over." He was sweating, but didn't dare mop his brow. Even the most subtle movement could cause a twig to snap, potentially giving his location away.

"SpecOps Recon1 to PariahForce, the west is ripe." The operative hated all this code talk. It did help keep enemies from immediately realizing what was going on, if they listened in. Still, it conjured up memories of spy genre b-movies. The ones they only rebroadcast late at night when nobody was watching.

"PariahForce to SpecOps Recon1, the eagles are soaring."


There were two of them, streaking across the night sky faster then the speed of sound. Once you heard them, they were already half-way to the horizon. Sleek, black and shaped like an isosceles triangle, these planes were some of the most advanced that Rasvidi could afford to produce. Rasvidi could afford alot.

They were very high in the sky, far above the cloud tops. Outside their breathing masks, the oxygen levels were dangerously low and the air was bitingly cold. The design of the planes ensured that ice wouldn't build up on the wings, in addition to a heating system that kept the fuselage above freezing. Strapped to the underside of each plane were four small missiles.

As they approached the target site of Alicante, and particularly military encampments within the city, they began a near vertical descent. That was what these planes were designed to do. Fly high above detection, stealthy and swift, and then rapidly descend from the heavens upon their targets, using the momentum to add to the kinetic energy of the payload. It was modeled after the hunting tactics of the Phanagorian Eagle, which would silently drop from the sky upon smaller birds flying below.

As they broke the cloud barrier, the pilots could finally see the landscape. Dense tropical forest dominated the hills around Alicante, centered around a small lake. Beyond, desert sands expanded as far as the eye could see, with gentle dunes blowing in the night. It was beautiful, and about to be rocked out of it's silence. When they where within 500 feet of the ground, the planes released their payloads, and then pulled sharply upwards at around 200 feet. Ascending less sharply as they descended, and feeling light-headed from the wild g-forces pulling on them, the planes began to head north. They would keep going that direction until they were well beyond detection, before heading back to Rasvidi. They couldn't risk being tracked heading home.

The bombs did their jobs, albeit messily. They hit most of their targets, but two strayed into civilian housing. Lives lost within the margin of error.

The bombs were catastrophic. Large, concentrated numbers of troops, unprotected by anti-aircraft weaponry, are extremely vulnerable to an airstrike. 51 dead Edesus. 79 injured, often seriously. 26 dead Hijjmans, 18 injured. All tragedies. A mass funeral was organized in Alicanate.

The only concession was the catastrophe's timing. The 7th Fleet had adopted Hijjma as its home. Among the aircraftcarriers' innumerable duties were training exercises for the fighters. As the Rasvidian bombers dove towards their victims, they were identified by the Edesu Navy.

Eight Sukhoi SU-35's in a training exercise were immediately reassigned: eliminate the bomber. Even the fastest of bombers (I am assuming the two are like B-2's.) cannot surpass mach one. The eight Sukhoi SU-35's rushed towards the bombers at mach 2.25. The vulnerable bombers were quickly destroyed.

The bombers were obviously exceedingly expensive. With the collapse of Hijjma and Isis Rakael, few nations could afford such technology. Rasvidian specifications matched the bombers' designs perfectly. (This identification is not unreasonable for any nation with espionage.)

Despite the obvious Rasvidian attack, Edo Edi Essum could not retaliate. Such an action would only result in Edesu hardship. Nonetheless, aerial patrols would be tripled.


Meanwhile, an Edesu delegation was meeting Numerian officials in Hiruharama. EEE was extremely interested in any military support.

The army of 100,000 was divided into ten smaller armies. One remained in Alicante. Two marched to Idris, the central city. Three headed North while three more went South. The remaining army was transported to the west coast.

[To finish this RP, I need to know my adversaries. Will NexusCorp flee Hijjma? Will NexusCorp fight? Is there any remnant of a Hijjman government left? How obnoxious will Rasvidi be? Is EEE welcome? Am I allowed to decide these things? Osc? Isis?]

[I'm not entirely sure at this point how Rasvidi will go. Since Isis and NX401 seem to be gone, Edo Edi Essum is Rasvidi's nearest rival, and will obviously be against it's expansion. That is also why there was a covert military strike, which the Rasvidi government will try to cover up. I am also thinking of the possibility of Rasvidi using some of it's biological weapons against Hijjma, again trying to be covert about it.]

In a press conference today, Vice Chairman Yelena Stasova denounced the recent expansion efforts deployed by Edo Edi Essum. She accused the nation of aggressively expanding it's borders at the expense of it's rivals, and the welfare and quality of life of their people. Stopping short of comparing Edo Edi Essum to the Commonwealth, Stasova used the nation to support the recent religious legislation, stating that while the people of Rasvidi should be free, allowing religion to enter politics can only work to harm a nation. It should be noted that while Vice Chairman Yelena Stasova belongs to the People's Party, Chairman Väinö Nakashidze belongs to the Progressive Party, and may hold different views on the subject. Stasova went on to say that sanctions against Edo Edi Essum should be negotiated with other nations, and offered a warning against further expansion.

Defence Commissar Paulina Vaijärvi also agreed on the issue, coming to the support of the Vice Chairman. Controversially, however, Vaijärvi stated her willingness to take subversive measures against ongoing expansion in Hijjma, saying that aggressive actions would be the only way to deter Edo Edi Essum. She also questioned the religious nature of the Edo Edi Essum government, asking whether such an irrational body could ever really be trusted by the international community, and further stated that their absolutist government was a threat to international peace and to the welfare of Edesu citizens. 'We all know how that went for us,' she is quoted as saying.

Chairman Väinö Nakashidze was unavailable for comment on the issue.

In a statement released today, the New Numair Defense Minister Bronson Stanley has announced to a pack audience inside the Defense HQ,



"The New Numair Royal Government fully supports the expansion of territory that the government of Edo Edi Essum is doing and any moves from a sovereign nation against Edo Edi Essum would be seen as hostile. The Royal Defense Chief Lieutenant General Jared Peki along with the Chief of the Army, Major General Waata Manu, His Highness, the Regent and His Majesty, the King have agreed with me and the Prime Minister to send troops to guard our borders for security reasons. We will not be sending them into a sovereign state, unless told too, which I pray will not happen in the near future."

[[First of all… the company is LexCo… a company that WISHES to be part of Oscalantine. They are not part of Oscalantine yet… ah what the heck, I’ll actually say it here.]]


In the Corporate office, Mr. Koh, after a long time of staying in Malabia, now basically a territory of Gracealona, stood along with other corporate officials. The news was not good: the country of Edo Edi Essum was trying to take over the country. They just needed few more months, and they would have had successful takeover and would have had a legitimate chance of being part of Oscalantine!

“Bah!” one of the officials said, “three months of work, wasted. We now not only have no country to live by, but we also have to forever flee our own territory! Who will accept us?”

“Maybe Oscalantine…” one of the other official carefully stated.

“Oscalantine?!” Mr. Koh shouted, “OSCALANTINE?! You are nuts. Mr. Black. Do you think that Nexus Inc gives a rat’s ass about our current situation? They MIGHT let us in if we have oil fields. If we ask them for membership in THIS situation, do you think Nexus, the Corporation that has over 90% of the votes, will answer us favorably?”

“What do we do then?” Mr. Black retorted, “Where do we move to? Isis Rakael?”

“We Fight.” Mr. Koh said, “We fight and we fight. And during that time, we retreat to Oscalantine. Little by little. LexCo is lost, but not out. We have superior oil-drilling capacity, and if we can act like nothing is wrong and if we get a piece of oil-drill actions in Oscalantine, we can move our assets off of his Communist country before we lose our money. But we need time. We need time to illegally move to Oscalantine. Or we search another root.”

“You senile bastards should be thankful to my connection to Oscalantine.” Mr. Koh continued, “The last months I was TRAPPED In that blasted country we have been supporting Oscalantine with goods from Plot 02. Heck, I am even of Corporate Descent. As long as I go to Oscalantine and work my card right, we can get in… although not through legal channels.”

“You mean NNN?” one of the officials asked.

“Right you are Ms. Jones. The NNN. They will try to destroy our reputation before we come into the country. Oscalantine cannot let us in if that means bad business. But if LexCo make some use of ourselves… we can get support. And move in.”

The officials agreed. They will need to first fight. They needed time to prepare for what is up ahead.

Under the LexCo’s mountain of capital that they obtained via illegal means, Idris started to fortify. Anti-air guns were put into place to prevent any bomber run-throughs. The city was tightly guarded and placed under high alert similar to that of Marshal Law state. LexCo hired mercenaries from everywhere, and Hijima’s ex-military officials were hired by LexCo to bolster this army. LexCo quickly mobilized their capitals towards securing their HQ.

Meanwhile, their officials were everywhere. The ex-military division camps of Hijima still held much of their men, supplies and weapons. Due to anarchy of the nation, many of these divisions were in guard of the anarchistic Hijima’s lands… like in the feudal system. LexCo reached out to them and quickly mobilized 200,000 men from these divisions to arrive to Idris. These men, each with their weapons and armarments, will arrive to Idris in the near future. Fighters from the military airports were also hired by LexCo. Twenty fighters have since moved to Idris International Airport and have been patrolling the airspace of Idris for any bomber threat.

SAM site were also in the works. LexCo has been busy dismantling these large weapon systems from its original sites to Idris to prevent any air threats. Interceptor missiles were also arriving from Hijima’s many army camps to Idris.

Regardless, Idris still looked feble. Despite their best efforts, there were only 5,000 men in Idris. They were highly susceptible to attacks until the 200,000 men from all over Hijima will arrive. These 200,000 men were also vulnerable, as they were only moving in few squads of 10,000 maximum. These men could be quickly found, intercepted, and convinced to join the enemy ranks… or they can quickly be killed. Although doomed-outlooks, Idris was getting ready to fend off against the invaders. They shall stand strong… until they have moved their assets where they need to be.


[[Okay, before anyone complain about 200k army… I’m using this as a plot device. I AM BEGGING EEE and NN to intercept these Hijima military groups and bolster their own army, since they might be fighting Oscal and even Ras if the worse turns to worst. Seriously, EEE, try to bolster your ranks by first laying siege to Hijima’s many military installations and getting supplies and military men you will need.

Oh and I’m basing this off the assumption that Hijima’s government collapsed on overnight, which it did in RL. If that happened, the land will turn into semi-feudal state, where military installations will take control of the region and will protect the land in return for taxes. These armies will be also hired for mercenaries and even go to the lengths of selling their weapons for high bidder. I merely used that factor… and anyone who was friendly with Hijima (EEE, basically) should be able to access these factors with ease… btw, Oscalantine also had friendly relations with Hijima, so get them before they get involved =) ]]

at today's briefing to the news at Wellington Palace, the home and office of the New Numair Prime Minister, Spencer Stanley along with the Defense Minister Bronson Stanley stood in front of a pack audience of journalist and the Prime Minister announced "we have got word today from Oscalantine, that they need help against the Hijima military groups that have been attacking their sovereignty, the Defense Minister and I have gotten permission from the Regent, the King and the Royal Defense Chief that we can send troops to help Oscalantine in their current struggle. I have also been in contact with the National Security Force Chief who has announced that he will send the NSF to patrol and secure our borders, we do not want to have a big war on our hands so for the Royal Defense Force will just help the Oscalantine forces"

Reports today indicated an alleged increase in troop patrols and military exercises on the Rasvidi Islands. Additionally, there were reports of naval vessels patrolling off the coast of Hijjma, although the purpose of such activities can only be speculated upon. When questioned, however, military and government officials in Ulyanovsk denied any allegations of interfering with Edo Edi Essum's troubled expansion. They called such accusations baseless and ridiculous, but refrained from commenting on EEE's efforts in Hijjma.

If reports turn out to be accurate, it is speculated that nearly 250,000 additional troops have been deployed to the Rasvidi Islands. Such numbers would indicate that the government is worried about possible military action from nations in the area, or are possibly planning to instigate military action themselves. It should be noted, though, that these numbers are purely speculative, as is the nature of the troop deployment, if any has indeed taken place. Rumors on the internet indicate that many Rasvidi citizens believe the stories to be a product of the Nationalist party propaganda machine.

In any case, it can assumed that the Rasvidi government is keeping a close eye on Edo Edi Essum.

Greetings. As you may know, Rasvidi has some level of interest in Edo Edi Essum's recent attempt to annex Hijjma. While we will not quantify any rumors, we do wish to offer some form of assistance to your corporation, if only to prevent our enemies from becoming more powerful. As we understand, your corporation is currently in the process of defending it's sovereignty and interests against Edo Edi Essum. We believe this situation can be used to the advantage of both our governments.

While we do not dare become directly involved in this conflict, as to avoid a bloody war like the one that stemmed out of the North Sea conflict, we can still offer assistance to your forces. We have plenty of weapons, equipment and supplies to provide your forces with. Of utmost importance, however, is Rasvidi's advanced chemical and biological weapons caches. We are willing to provide your forces with some of these weapons, but only if we can have some kind of guarantee that these weapons will be used against Edo Edi Essum.

If you can successfully expel their forces from the island, then we shall send a small force to assist in defence and rebuilding of your territory. We can also aid in negotiations with Oscalantine in your favour.

We greatly anticipate your response.

An executive meeting had been scheduled in Kolbertiko. All 27 ministers were present with the exception of the MFA, who was busy attempting to gain support in Carnibas. Although the Supreme Holy Technocrat technically led all executive meetings, the most relevant ministry of the day usually took the lead. Today, that was the Minister of War, Jordan Kriegipaz.

"The invasion of Hijjma will make the Southern annexation look simple," he began. "While the annex was mostly unpopulated, Hijjma is quite the opposite. Furthermore, mere tribes dominated politics in the annex. Hijjma is currently experiencing an anarchic interregnum."

"Unlike in the annex, we are dealing with some actual powers. LexCo is a worthy adversary. However, they are obviously only in Hijjma for profit. To get them out, we need to make it abundantly clear that no corporate profit will ever be extracted from Hijjma."

"To accomplish this, I am deploying 100,000 additional men to Hijjma, including 5,000 from Sankta Vak. NexCo is trying to amass an army around Idris. This must be prevented. 200,000 commoners are converging on the city to be recruited. All of these minor feudal armies will be intercepted by armies double their size, armed to the teeth, and backed with heavy weaponry."

"As for the fortification of Idris, speed is the key. The EAF is currently bombing all instillations of value in Idris. An army of 35,000 oughta reach Idris within two hours. It'll be bloody, but EEE needs to capture Idris. Armies, all at least 4,000 strong, will scatter across Hijjma and confiscate as many arms and heavy weapons as possible. If we do this fast, NexCo will be defenseless."

"What about Sankta Vak?" asked Cardinal Luke Cassava, Minister of the Church, "Are we to leave it defenseless?"

"One thousand soldiers will remain," explained Minister Kriegipaz, "But Noratreos doesn't matter anymore. If Rasvidi invades the island, so be it. We'll have the colonists evacuate. It's only a little city and a marble mine. Hijjma will be our priority for years to come."

"On the issue of Rasvidi, Lt. MFA Johnson is in Ulyanovsk right now. Nothing will probably be accomplished, but the more civil Rasvidi is, the better off we will be. Reports say over 250K soldiers are amassing on the Isles. Hopefully, it's just a Rasvidian precaution. They ought to realize the Edesu response to an invasion would be immediate and strong. More importantly, our allies are loyal and many."

"Hopefully, we can get some Oscalantine support for the invasion. I hear they have always had a thing for cheap oil. Also, New Numair will be rewarded for their noble support with free petroleum. If it all goes well, by [RL] Christmas, EEE will be Tiberiam's unquestioned petroleum superpower."

"On that note, forces are securing the oil fields as I speak. These oil drilling facilities are invaluable: already constructed with a solid pipeline grid. Obviously, the pipes have been seriously damaged by the interregnum, but that's nothing a week of work can't fix."

"Finally, I can not reiterate enough how long this will be. The Annex was miraculous: only a few months were needed to claim the entire territory. The North loves us, and the South only has the occasional terrorist attack. The bureaucracy has already been fully implemented. Hijjma will be much harder. Basic antibiotics won't wow these people. But we have advantages. Hijjmans always thought favorably of Edo Edi Essum. They are sympathetic to communism. Christian conversion will take time. Most importantly, these are people like any other. They want peace. We bring order, food, and education. People want stability, not chaos. NexCo brings misery; we bring food."

Kriegipaz turned, "The food's on its way, right Patrick?"

"Yeah," answered Master Minister of Agriculture, Patrick Terth, "100 tons, fresh out of Mora. Good thing it was a good harvest this year."




[OK, Oscalantine, EEE begs of your support. I'm don't fully understand Osc's relation with NexCo, but I hope it goes in our favor. Anyways, you get to RP how Idris and the many confiscations went.]

Greetings.

Do not worry, Rasvidi has no cause to be angry or hostile towards Oscalantine or Nexus Incorporated. Indeed, we will be extending the same offer we made to Lexus Corporation to your government.

As you now have a vested interest in keeping Lexus Corporation secure and their assets intact, Rasvidi and Oscalantine will have similar goals. We are worried to hear your plans to eventually vacate Hijjma, however. We ask that your government reconsiders this decision; without access to the oil fields in Hijjma, Lexus Corporation will be unable to produce petroleum products and in the long term will cause you financial losses. At the very least, we would like to see Edo Edi Essum forced to abandon it's colonization of the island. As with Lexus Corporation, we are willing to provide support to your forces in this endeavour.

What Rasvidi is trying to avoid is an all-out war. The North Sea Conflict stemmed out of minor disagreements over the construction of an oil platform. It ended with the city of Kazan being annihilated and the population of Isis Rakael being plagued by biological contamination. Edo Edi Essum was involved in that war and Rasvidi nearly lost it's colony in the Rasvidi Islands to them. This is not something we would like to revisit. If you assist us, then Edo Edi Essum may very well consent to peacefully withdraw their forces after understanding the situation. If not, we can help minimize casualties by providing your forces with high quality Rasvidi weapons and certain biological and chemical weapons to deploy against their forces. Rasvidi, as you may be aware, has one of the most advanced biological and chemical weapons caches, owing to our lack of access to uranium.

However, our support would require that you extradite Lexus Corporation officials that were involved with Malabia to the Rasvidi Islands, to be transferred to Gracealona for trial. While you may at first object to the suggestion, I will point out that this would not be a negative thing for Nexus Incorporated or Oscalantine. Indeed, it might benefit you. We are not completely familiar with the complex and intricate corporate alliances in Oscalantine, but we are aware that Nexus is the most powerful. Replacing those Lexus Corporation officials with individuals on the Nexus payroll would help you to consolidate your influence and power even further.

We believe this is a fair deal. You give us the officials, and in exchange we can help Oscalantine to establish sovereignty over Hijjma and therefore give it access to the rich oil fields there. It would give an edge over Edo Edi Essum, who currently holds a near monopoly over oil exports, and allowing him to take these deposits would allow this communist government to dictate global oil prices. I'm sure Oscalantine would not like to see this happen.

Today in a press conference President Carlton announced that Gracealonian forces will support Rasvidi in this conflict. He stated that:

“We will support our EU ally Rasvidi in this conflict upon their request. Not only because we are obliged to but because they have offered to assist us in capturing the executives of LexCo currently residing in the former nation of Hijjma. Although we appreciate Oscalantine’s offer to hand the LexCo officials over to us at a later time we would be lying if we said we didn’t find it hard to believe they will considering their forces are currently protecting LexCo. This corporation must be brought on trial for their crimes against the Gracealonian people and with Rasvidi’s aid we hope to bring them on trial here in Gracemaria soon. We offer the government of Oscalantine one final chance to hand over LexCo peacefully. If you do not be warned that the combined forces of our country and Rasvidi will not hesitate to kill your forces protecting these criminals.

Let it not be thought for a second that we are entering this conflict solely to capture the LexCo officials. Although this is one of our motives we are also seeking to cease the spread of communism through Tiberiam which means stopping the further expansion of the nation of Edo Edi Essum and we will unite with Rasvidi to make that happen. Our forces will soon begin collecting in the Rasvidi Islands and once collected will deploy from there to the former lands of the nation of Hijjma.”

A combined force of 80,000 troops, 56 ships (Including 3 aircraft carriers), 100 fighter jets, 15 bombers, 45 helicopters and 120 tanks all began the process of being transported to the Rasvidi Islands. They are all expected to arrive within a week at which time they will begin combat operations in Hijjma.

Edo Edi Essum, LexCo, ands Osclantine had, oddly enough, succeeded at creating a compromise. LexCo's assets in Hijjma (primarily Nexus credits, paperwork, and stockpiled petroleum) were transported to the coastline and sent to Osclantine. Although LexCo relinquished all its land claims, it kept most of its present assets in Hijjma and avoided the need to go out guns blazin', which is exceedingly expensive.

Edo Edi Essum no longer needed to fight with LexCo; a predicted adversary was no longer dangerous. The unemployed soldiers amassed by LexCo were confronted by the Edesu military. The violent vagrants were quickly converted to the Edesu cause. All they wanted was employment to feed their families; EEE offerred this and more. As an Edesu soldier, the militants received all of the predictable benefits of employment plus education for their children and habitation for their families. What more could they want?

Edo Edi Essum and Osclantine mutually benefited. A major war was avoided; trade increased; national relations solidified.


The Edesu military, in armies between 4,000 and 10,000 strong, confronted the Hijjman militants. The vagrants were incorporated into the Edesu forces in Hijjma, which quickly swelled to 400,000. Their arms became property of Edo Edi Essum.

The Edesu army spread to every major population center to provide security. Although there was fighting with innumerable tiny factions, Edesu control was more or less accepted. Hijjmans wanted peace and order. EEE provided this. Unemployed teachers became government employees. Public education resumed. Food was distributed. The march to communism had begun.

This initial conquest was far from bloodless. 8,442 Hijjmans and 1,127 Edesus perished. However, a minimal level of order was established, this being great improvement. Edesu soldiers began the nationalization of all industries. Workers were paid in food, medical, and entertainment rations.

The most important industry, obviously, was oil. Master Minister Henry Pertz (Oil) toured the oil facilities, determining what repairs were needed. Skilled technical crews were imported from the mainland to repair the pipelines; no expense was spared. In less than two weeks, the oil was running again.

The Fifth and Seventh Fleets surrounded the island, vigilantly patrolling. No non-Edesu plane or boat was to be allowed to near the coastline. Security was critical. A few exceptions were made for Osclantine vessels, but EEE's usually paranoid customs procedures were made airtight.

Unfortunately for Edo Edi Essum, a major resistance movement was taking shape in Hijjma.

Hundreds of feudal lords sat around the table, actually dozens of tables hodge-podged together. The dingy restaurant symbolized Hijjma: run-down and in need of proper leadership. They were here to fix this.

A tall lord stood up and began speaking. "Gentlemen," he declared, "We have met here today to reestablish Hijjma in all its glory. We live in dark times. Our esteemed kingdom has collapsed, and a savage empire has invaded from the east. They want to destroy our way of life and replace it with communism and Christianity." The man, Lord Jikal, turned and spat.

He continued, "We cannot allow this to happen. We will not allow this to happen. Noble blood flows through our veins: our gods have granted us the right to rule this great island. No foreigners with their strange God and confusing bureaucracy will ever take Hijjma from us!"

All the men cheered lively. Once the lords had quieted, Lord Jikal continued, "Our Gods have brought us many gifts. They have sent help from afar to defeat the Christian menace." A sleek man, dressed in a fine black suit, stepped forward. Lord Jikal gestured for the businessman to speak.

"I am Mr. Voh," the businessman announced, "And I bring good news. I know some people who are extremely supportive of your noble cause. My government will bankroll your resistance with unlimited armaments. For starters," Mr. Voh turned and gestured to the doorway.

Workers pushed in enormous crates, clearly immensely heavy. The workers began opening all of the boxes, showing vast quantities of guns and ammunition. Hundreds more crates waited outside.

"Hijjma will rise again!" screamed Lord Jikal, "Today, we found the Liberated Hijjman Federation!" Celebration filled the building.


Mr. Voh was very pleased. Rasvidi's plan was simple and brilliant. Importing large quantities of arms would be nigh impossible. But buying weaponry already within Hijjma would not. What was a small multi-billion purchase of arms from LexCo to prevent Edesu expansion?

While we understand your regime's desire for normalization of relations, the government of Rasvidi cannot see how this would be feasible in the near future. While you continue to dominate and oppress your peoples under the guise of religion, and aggressively bring even more territory and populations under such governance, Rasvidi simply cannot stand idly by. Our ideals and beliefs are fundamentally at odds, in an unresolvable way. The only solution to this would be a significant change in politics for one of our countries, and Rasvidi is not likely to change any time soon.

As for your proposed east-west canal, we would agree under one condition, that Rasvidi allow to assume sovereignty over this canal. Since the majority of this canal would reside in the east, with the Luza Sea and the Luza Strait allowing access to central Terragon from the west, Rasvidi would be the nearest functional government to it. It would be impractical for anyone but our nation to assert sovereignty and assume primary responsibilities over the canal. International contributions to aspects such as defence of the canal, policing, and other duties would obviously be tolerated.

If this simple request cannot or will not be respected by all governments involved, then Rasvidi will be unable to contribute to it's construction.

Defence Commissar Paulina Vaijärvi acknowledged today for the first time the presence of 250,000 troops in the Rasvidi Islands, confirming rumors that a massive troop movement had taken place earlier on. This has come after Gracealonan military moved to the island in anticipation of conflict in Hijjma, to extract the fleeing war criminals present on the island.

The Commissar condemned the actions of Oscalantine, accusing them of willfully and knowingly harbouring the criminals of Rasvidi's allies. She vowed to support Gracealona in it's efforts to extradite these individuals and halt the spread of communism, and announced her intention to give military support to their operations in Hijjma. However, Vaijärvi also made it clear that no military action was to be taken against Edo Edi Essum unless such action was instigated by them.

Perhaps more controversially, Chairman Väinö Nakashidze this week announced it's support for pro-Hijjma insurgents active in the region. He said that all societies deserve the right to self-determination, and condemned Edo Edi Essum for robbing the people of Hijjma of this opportunity. He drew comparisons between the insurgents and the revolutionaries of the Commonwealth Era, saying that both peoples have had to struggle against religious oppression and domination.

With the EEE government’s approval, Oscalantine moved in. With naval force in place, massive landing operation was put in place. 10,000 National Army members have entered the Hijima island through a landing operation. With them, 3,000 mobile platform division entered as well. Most of the 10,000 troops were in a vehicle; 200 main battle tanks, 250 4WD, and 500 2WD was involved in this operation. They were planning on passing straight through any resistance backed by air support. Military tacticians surmised that the entire operation should take less than three days.

This has been going quickly in pace. Oscalantine quickly got into the land, secured the LexCo HQ, and catered out what capital they needed. The National Army met very little resistance during their march to Idris. Some feudal lords of Hijima attacked Oscalantine troops, but they were simply no match to onslaught of lead and explosives by Oscalantine’s mobile platform, aka choppers. National Army, however, did meet surprising assaults. As a result, 1,000 from the original 10,000 deployed into Hijima was brought back to the homeland for treatment. Out of those, 100 suffered severe wounds and was enrolled as test subjects for artificial limbs.

Regardless, Oscalantine went into Idris and secured the HQ. Because of EEE’s cooperation, there was little casualty in Idris. The National Army quickly captured Idris National Airport, and from there, the capital of LexCo was moved from Hijima to Oscalantine. Because of EEE’s request, Oscalantine forced LexCo to release all land claims in Hijima.

The move was successful. Within the week, the move was completed, and the entirety of LexCo was moved to Oscalantine. Once that was done, Oscalantine could now get LexCo’s officials into Gracealona’s trial. Oscalantine has been so far not releasing any public announcement for the condemnation from Rasvidi and Gracealona. In fact, the NNN, critical on such international issues, has been completely silent as of late in those news, speaking only of warfront and the naval actions surrounding Hijima Island.

In fact, Oscalantine has been preparing silently for war. The invisible naval blockade has been established by hundreds of submarines that Oscalantine prides itself of. Rasvidi and Gracealona would have probably already noticed through their sonar that nearly 500 units of FoolKill IV Submarine Cruiser, 100 units of FarAfar XIV Long-Ranged Ballistics Submarines, and 20 units of FairyTale XVII Submerged Weapons Platform has been patrolling the southern water of Hijima.

Oscalantine has also leaked out an information to Rasvidi government: all three of the Stealth Submarines, TheIncorproated XXX Stealth Submarine, Oscalantine’s superweapon, have all been placed within the Southern sea of Hijima. While it is impossible to tell if this is true due to stealth nature of these weapons, any nation could surmise that Oscalantine was preparing to defend Hijima from the might of Eastern Union.

Oscalantine’s strategy was simple and deadly: To threaten EU to prepare more for the war until Oscalantine and or EEE prepares coastal batteries around Hijima to defend itself against. Oscalantine has also prepared submarine warfare, where they plan on sinking as much ships as possible to prevent the EU from even thinking about naval operations in the Hijima waters. Oscalantine was also thinking through direct assault on Rasvidi Islands using FairyTale via Long-Range Ballistic Missiles, or IRBM. What Oscalantine hoped for was to prevent EU forces from ever landing in Hijima in hopes that they will wear themselves out supplying the forces from the sea. The worst-case scenario of Oscalantine, after all, was if EU managed to land in Hijima. They can set up airfields and landing strips to start the all-out assault on Oscalantine through bombers. And with Oscalantine’s airforce so outdated and outmanned, Oscalantine speculated that much of their factories and coastal batteries will be disabled before the all-out landing invasion happens by EU.

What Oscalantine hoped for was to keep their word: to get LexCo officials to justice. However, Mr. Koh’s plans were… a little different. Once the assets of LexCo went into Oscalantine, Mr. Koh and his officials changed minds nearly 180 degrees. Without the consent of Oscalantine, they started another war. Oscalantine could only guess at their sponsor. However, with little time left, Oscalantine was left to result in more drastic measures.

Executor Nate, among many others in Melcoba Alliance, was outraged by what was going on. In their next meeting, LexCo was not invited into its halls. And the voting was unanimous: Oscalantine will cease all LexCo’s assets in Oscalantine, distribute them to the Melcoba’s member companies, and stop their efforts of preventing EU from coming into the nation.

When Executor came out of the meeting, he was smiled as both the Executor of Oscalantine and as CEO of Nexus Inc. They could finally get their plans underway.

Oscalantine was quick to react. Oscalantine called for Corporate Rule, where Executor was the sole person in charge of all the assets of Oscalantine. Once that was established, Executor Nate first called for cease of all LexCo’s assets under the name of “dangerous gambling” that LexCo was doing.

Excerpt from Executor’s speech wrote:

… And with the power invested in me during the Corporate Rule, I hereby condemn Lexicon Corporation of their atrocity against our member companies. For awhile, due to our need of affordable petroleum, have the member companies and Oscalantine let LexCo do whatever they wanted. We provided them with protection, investment, and friendship. However, they have used this act of trust as right to abuse. Their atrocity against Gracealona in Plot 02 is one of these deeds. They have caused hundreds of lives for their quick cash. Not only that, but they have jeopardized Oscalantine’s name and reputation to GET SOME QUICK CASH!

Executor clears his throat and some of his rage. He starts to speak more calmly.

But we realize the need for money for LexCo. Its country is destroyed, and with no one to look out for them, they have their reasons for needing capital. And thus, as an act of friendship, we helped LexCo move from the anarchistic land of Hijima to Oscalantine, where they can continue their business ventures in peace. No longer will they need to hire guns and muscles to protect their assets. Our hopes was to believe that LexCo, with their threat gone, will now be part of an open society, reducing their behind-the-back dealing to minimum and earning money with legal methods set by the global community.

Alas, we were horribly mistaken.

Just a few nights back, we have tracked several of their influx of cash. And through various links and information obtained by our Cyber Division, we have tracked LexCo to the uprising of Hijima rebellion… similar if not EXACTLY ALIKE to what they did with Malabians just a month ago. To think that they will spend their last month doing… this… is unacceptable.

Executor falls in silent lament. He raises his head up again and speaks in louder, clearer, and certainly more authoritative tone than before.

That is why I am ceasing all assets from LexCo that is in Oscalantine. We shall NOT deal with such atrocity. We will no longer stand to see LexCo ruin another country for their benefit. Keep in mind that this time, they are threatening OUR COUNTRY. Our beloved country made to be a haven for all companies. We shall not stand for their actions and instead, we shall sit. I have already discussed with the member companies, and we have decided to retract all our investment from LexCo. We have also decided to take all capital assets from LexCo that is based in Rhombiom Corporation. And I, as an Executor of Oscalantine, shall decree that from this day forward, Mr. Koh and his associates are no longer welcome in Oscalantine. We shall make sure that they will no longer taint our land with their dirty hands any longer!

With Oscalantine’s formal announcement, another condemnation came towards LexCo… but this was a lot more shocking than what Oscalantine could ever do.

Melcoba Family, the royal family of Oscalantine if Oscalantine ever served a royalty, made their public announcement. This was the third time that Melcoba Family came out from their luxurious homes far from human reaches. Farnor Melcoba, the head of the Melcoba Family and the current owner of Melcoba Assets have made the speech.

everyone shouts “For the Corporation” in return.

Good, good. I am glad to hear such strong voices. Oscalantine’s future is bright and free of corporate slandering thanks to the members of the press. And for that, I must thank you all. And I also thank you all for coming here to my humble mansion to hear this old man talk.

Farnor drinks his cup of club soda before continuing.

Now, members of press. I am here not because of good reason. I am here to excise the power that has been given to me by my father and by Oscalantine, but never wished to use. I am here to… ah, what do they call it in Christianity… yes, discommunicate… an individual from Oscalantine. Now, before your time and before mine, Melcoba Corporation was a small company that had just over a hundred workers working in the company. In fact, they were all immigrants… cheap labor that my ancestor wanted to use. As Melcoba grew, so did their numbers, and these immigrants have been given more and more trusted jobs.

Now, when Melcoba Corporation was under the threat of USI, these immigrants have been managing the company’s crucial details. If they told these details to USI, Melcoba would have surely disbanded. However, they did not. These managers cared more about the company that they have worked on for generations than the money. My ancestors, touched by their loyalty, have decided to give them the title “Corporate Descent,” for they believed in the company more than money. Since then, these immigrant families have been widely accepted as elites of Oscalantine. They have been taking high seats in the offices of Oscalantine as well as Nexus Incorporated. In short, they are what you would call “nobles” of Oscalantine, if I was the king, of course.

However, Mr. Koh has certainly did a bad thing. And I say a bad thing I mean a horrible thing. He has destroyed the name of Oscalantine and made the stock of its member companies drop. And to add to the insult, he never learns. He believes that his status as Corporate Descent can save him from anything, for Oscalantine provides diplomatic protection against all Corporate Descent. But no longer.

I am here to announce that Theodore Maxwell Koh, CEO of Lexicon Corporation, is no longer part of the sacred families that have guarded Melcoba Corporation. They are no longer of Corporate Descent, and Oscalantine no longer has any need to protect them and their families. I strongly encourage that Mr. Koh’s families are not to be blamed for their misbehaving member’s deeds, but instead given support for the loss of their relative.

From the shores of Hijima, Oscalantine started to retreat. Its National Armies have all retreated from Idris with haste. Oscalantine gave the control of Idris back to whoever was in charge… or rather, they just abandoned the order of Idris and retreated.

Executor Nate decided to write letters to Rasvidi and Gracealona concerning the situation at hand.

I am here to give summary of what was going on in Oscalantine as well as what Oscalantine plans to do in the future.

First and foremost, your nations must have noticed the influx of submarines in the area. As much as I wish to deny it, there is no need to do so. It is true that we were planning on defending Hijima from EU as long as we could. The reason was simple: Oscalantine did not wish to let any nation in Hijima for the fear of our weak airspace. Therefore, we have positioned hundreds of submarines as well as all three of our Stealth Submarines in the area to secure the location. Our plan was to destroy EU’s naval forces before they can even land on Hijima’s waters.

Regardless, this is no longer of our concern. We have all but given up on LexCo. LexCo is no longer of any threat or benefit to us. In fact, they have became a bad image of Oscalantine, spitting mud at our face whenever they can. And I wish for member nations of EU to know that whatever is going on in Hijima is no longer of Oscalantine’s responsibility or cause. To be honest, we are simply tired of trying to protect LexCo when they do not want to fend for themselves and look out for their future.

Therefore, our plans are to move our naval forces back to the northern portion of Oscalantine towards our lands. We are setting up an effective blockade around the northern region of Hijima to prevent any military landing that will happen in the area. As you can probably surmise, our submarines will no longer attack you if you were to meet them in the southern Hijima. Our National Army will be retreated at haste as well. By the time that reply comes back to me from you, our entire military would be stationed around Oscalantine for a potential war, although they will no longer be in Hijima mainland.

Oscalantine would like to offer a peace treaty with member nations of EU. Although undeclared, we believe that we have been fighting in a war of attrition, even if it was for a little. And I would like to thank Rasvidi government for their wish for support, although Oscalantine is currently… how am I supposed to say it… sick and tired of Hijima’s needs. Oscalantine sees no benefit in taking Hijima… only cost of mountain of lives and unruly area for decades to come. We already have that going on with our northern area. I would also like to give a formal apology to EU. Although we have not, even the idea can kill, and the thought of decision to shoot your navy is enough for me to apologize to you formally.

And to Gracealona, who has been condemning Oscalantine for our sheltering of LexCo… well, no longer. We were planning on LexCo to stabilize and get back into speed before sending the officials for trial, but it seems that LexCo had other ideas. We shall leave this to your hands, as you probably would have wanted.

However, I am a little disappointed that we could not be trusted to help the global community. Oscalantine, again, was in no way shape or form part of the heinous act against Gracealonian people nor its land. If this was more appropriate timing, I would like to publically condemn Gracealona for their unjust accusation against Oscalantine. Perhaps that is under order in later time, What Gracealona is doing to Oscalantine seems to be crossing the line, and I wish that Gracealona would have more faith in Oscalantine’s sense of justice. It is BECAUSE we are a pro-business that losing face is the last thing we would want to do.

This is moot point, however, I wish you happy hunting, and I also hope that such act of accusation will not occur in the future

The government of Oscalantine cannot thank you more for your support for our actions. Regardless, we have met our objective, although it has been altered slightly, we have been taking steps to retreat from Hijima mainland. We have received the business expansion with much eagerness. Oscalantine and EEE have been already big partners in trade, but we see that there are more benefits to be found. Perhaps in a more quite time, we should continue this discussion.

Unfortunately, Oscalantine will have to cautiously question the feasibility of this canal project. The distance that must be covered seems too great for effective canal to be placed. Oscalantine does have government surplus in our already-planned budget. We shall contribute 300 million Nexus Credits to this project, but we believe that it would be moot effort. Regardless, we shall still be supportive of this positive cause, although any more government waste would be detrimental for our country.

Also please note that Oscalantine will be remaining neutral in the matter of Hijima Island. While we see the reason why you wish for the land, we do not have any benefits in assisting the defense of the land. Therefore, we shall make our stand in our mainland, where a potential frontal war might ensue, but we shall remain passive about potential conflict between EU and EEE’s allies in Hijima Island. Unfortunately, this war does not benefit us in any way shape or form, and our member companies will not allow a war that is not worth fighting for.

Oscalantine’s naval forces have been order to not engage with EU’s naval forces unless shot upon, The naval forces will soon amass in the Oscalantine’s waters to create a blockade. Meanwhle, Oscalantine’s satellite islands around Hijima was being armed. By the end of the month, these unmanned islands will be a naval support facility for the Oscalantine navy to ready their forces for bitter battle at sea if the battle hits home.

Oscalantine, meanwhile, was preparing for all-out assault by EU. Their shorelines were armed with early-warning systems as well as anti-aircraft missiles. More UAVS than ever were patrolling the air around Hijima to see all that was going on. Oscalantine was once again standing alone, and they will be prepared for the worst.

[For the record, Mr. Voh and Mr. Koh are completely separate men. For starters, Mr. Voh is Rasvidian. They are both, however, shady businessmen.]

We are disappointed by your government's obstinate refusal to act civilly. Nonetheless, we hope you know better than to invade Edesu territory. Such an action would be exceedingly unwise.

Regarding the hypothetical East-West Canal, your officials seem to be quite ignorant of basic geography. NX401 is the only nation to actually border the canal; Rasvidi does not. Edo Edi Essum believes the government of NX401 to be both functional and sovereign. NX management of the canal would be most logical.

Obviously, if your people are uncivilized and cannot see the greater benefit of this canal, you are not obligated to support its construction. However, your nation's vessels will certainly pay a far higher fee to access the canal than a reasonable nation.

Also, LexCo has been evicted from Hijjma. As the corporation is no longer present in Edesu territory, we have no authority over its activities. Were a corporation located in Hijjma, it would be promptly nationalized.

Edo Edi Essum had successfully captured the Southern half of Hijjma. Mass nationalization and employment was implemented. Reconstruction had begun. The southern oil fields became operational once again, and the southern oil grid was repaired. The first of many oil tankers was filled and traveled north to Oscalantine.

The North was a different matter. Over one hundred thousand rebels had formed a surprisingly well-organized insurgency, the Liberated Hijjman Federation. Preaching Hijjmaism, capitalism, and small government, the Federation refused to ever be integrated into Edo Edi Essum. Central Hijjma quickly descended into full civil war as EEE and the LHF fought for territory. Hijjman casualties have already soared over 120,000; Edesu casualties number 34,000.

As war obliterates central Hijjma, crumbling infrastructure is already at catastrophic levels. Without potable water or electricity, waterborne illnesses have skyrocketed, most notably Cholera. The North fares little better, since the overwhelming majority of LHF funds are directed towards the military.

In response to escalating militarization within the region, Rasvidi today announced it's intention to transport 500 long-range ballistics missiles and 2,500 short-range ballistics missiles to the Rasvidi Islands, a move that was applauded by many groups within Rasvidi. There have been calls for an increased military presence on the islands ever since the North Sea Conflict, which nearly saw their annexation by the joint forces of Hijjma, Edo Edi Essum and King Isaac.

Chairman Väinö Nakashidze has denied the move to be an act of hostility or aggression towards any nations present in the region, but has stated it as a deterrence against open war or conflict. The Chairman was silent on the issue of biological and chemical warheads, refusing to answer questions about whether or not any of the missiles transported were equipped by such weaponry. These actions are believed to be in response to reports of weapons platforms and similar technology being stationed in Hijjma by Oscalantine.

Despite strong public support for the move, opposition leaders have condemned the Chairman for allegedly flip-flopping on campaign promises and his own party's platform. The blatantly aggressive and militant stance in this conflict is seemingly at odds with the Progressive Party's somewhat pacifist foreign policy. We apologize for any perception by Oscalantine that the Eastern Union's intent was to eventually declare open war on your nation. This is not the case. They have no interest in obtaining sovereignty over Hijjma, at least not as far as we are aware, nor do they have any interest in invading the Oscalantine mainland.

Likewise, Rasvidi has no direct interest in Hijjma. Officially, we are simply there to assist our allies in achieving their goals for LexCo. Of course we cannot deny our rivalry with Edo Edi Essum. As you plan to eventually vacate the island, our nations have no direct contradiction in goals or policies that would be cause for armed conflict. We also have no interest whatsoever in occupying the Oscalantine mainland, considering the distance from Rasvidi and the lack of resources relevant to our leading markets.

We simply ask that Oscalantine extradite the LexCo officials to the Rasvidi Islands in a timely fashion, lest you risk potential conflict with Gracealona in their efforts to extract these officials from Hijjma. In such a situation, Rasvidi would have no choice but to support our allies. This is something we wish to avoid.

However we shall also ask you to reconsider the vacation of Hijjma. As mentioned before, if Edo Edi Essum obtains control of the oil fields in Hijjma, then all assets would be nationalized by their government and they will be able to determine fuel prices for all nations in Hiborea. This includes Oscalantine. As their government is communist, which is fundamentally at odds with your own nation's politics, we are at a loss as to why this doesn't alarm you.

Fuel prices will skyrocket. It will become increasingly more costly to operate a modern military, and transportation in all sectors will become cumbersome. Meanwhile, Edo Edi Essum will benefit from the high export prices of it's oil while at the same time having substantially cheaper fuel costs as a result of their abundant oil fields. This will threaten the stability of all our governments, and particularly those governments which support a capitalist domestic policy.

We offer that your nation forms a joint military force with Rasvidi and Gracealona to occupy Hijjma and expel Edo Edi Essum forces. After this has been accomplished, we can negotiate the partition of Hijjma between our three nations so that oil prices can be more competitive. If this is not a satisfactory goal, Oscalantine can continue with it's plans to vacate Hijjma after Edo Edi Essum is expelled, and Rasvidi can offer tariff free oil exports to your nation. I do not think we need to tell you that allowing a communist government to monopolize the fuel supply of Tiberiam would be a disaster. We would also like to discuss what to do with Hijjma; Rasvidi favours the cooperative administration of the territory by our three governments, with our corporations allowed access to the oil fields. This would prevent any conflicts of sovereignty between our three nations over the oil fields, while allowing unprecedented competition of oil prices. Effectively, all military forces were vacated from Hijima to Oscalantine. Naval presence in the northern Hijima waters, however, was still stationed. It was reported that thousands of submarines crawled in the north of Hijima, In Hidden Sea, but that was never really proven.

Oscalnatine was, for the most part, using the unoccupied islands as forward naval bases. Temporary docking stations were set and large cargoes of oil was dropped off by Oscalantine each day to fuel the naval ships. From the satellite, in one dock nearly 10 submarines at a time were fueling, which was a scary scene for anyone that was daring to attack Oscalantine from the sea.

The National Army was never disbanded. The 150,000 National Army was sent to Stragerian Keep and the rest were put in one of the unoccupied island’s temporary military camp. Oscalantine has called for another 100,000 military troops, which will be readied with real weapons by the end of next week. Media speculated that nearly 300,000 National Army was an overkill for defending Oscalantine borders, but population still concluded that Oscalantine needed military presence when there was a war going on so closely to their home.

Oscalantine reacted rather sharply to missiles being stationed at Rasvidi Islands. Oscalantine Navy announced that they shall be stationing 15 FairyTale XVII Submerged Weapons Platform around the high seas to intercept the IRBMs that will be fired from Rasvidi Islands. Oscalantine has also stated that 50 of FoodKill IV Submarine Cruisers will also be stationed to protect the FairyTale weapons platform.

LexCo officials were on the run. Mr. Koh peacefully surrendered and decided to take part in the trial for his deeds, pledging that he shall regain his title once his international charges are over. Mr. Koh and other two LexCo officials, three out of fifteen high ranking officials who have supported Malabian Conflict, will be handed over to Gracealona by the end of the week. They will be arriving in Rasvidi Islands via civilian airplane, and Oscalantine encouraged that fighters to be sent to prevent any interception of the civilian vehicle during the transport. Three AAXI UAVS was to guard this plane with its cargo until the EU fighters were to meet with the group once the plane has left Hijima airspace.

The rest of the members of LexCo, being part of Hijima, decided instead to hide themselves along with the HLF in Northern Hijima. Some of the officials decided to hide in the anarchistic remains of Ruzslava, while others have decided to surrender themselves. Additional two LexCo officials have landed on Gracemaria through international airplane the other day, adding up the number of LexCo officials captured five out of total fifteen.

With assets ceased and its company name cleared, Nexus Inc. was now standing in a place to start making profit. Their previous stands on neutrality… might need to be altered.

Oscalantine was in agreement, seeing as how much of Oscalantine officials were indeed Nexus Inc. businessmen and women.

Executor Nate was in the meeting with his Corporate Council. The situation briefing seemed to all lead to Oscalantine ceasing the lands. Hijima was under deadly civil war, LexCo officials were hiding in Northern Hijima, and Rasvidi was continuously pressuring Oscalantine for action. EEE was also fighting a disadvantageous war: Hijima and its inhabitants were a bit more than EEE could chew. The situation was getting to the point of being painfully beneficial for Oscalantine.

Executor Nate sat quietly listening to it all. Things were really looking up. The profit seems to be heavily outweighing the cost. Everything was of the sudden leaning towards Oscalantine’s favor for invasion. However, the Executor was a very cautious man when it came to war. He could be bold in economy, but he couldn’t face all the media fiasco if thousands of soldiers died without a just cause. So he watched, waiting to see what would Corporate Council, his advisors, would tell him about this matter. The council was busy yammering away with military specialists as well as General Judiciary and Fleet Admiral about the cost of the war.

“The council’s vote is unanimous, Executor,” The Executive Secretary stated to Nate, “The council advises Oscalantine to declare war on HLF.”

“I understand. What of the other two branches?”

Just then, three screens in the room turned on, revealing the representative of NNN, Stockholders’ Council, and Farnor Melcoba. The three seemed to be waiting for Corporate Council’s decision before speaking.

“Executor, we can use the oil.” Farnor stated, “Our Naval output it too great to sustain for long if we do not get some domestic oil… that that arctic wasteland will not give us enough.”

“The NNN has decided that we shall make sure that we send good image of the warfront to the media, Executor, go have your war.” The representative of NNN stated with pride, “For the Corporation!”

“Do you really need our influence? We have voted your Corporate Rule valid. That gives you all the power in the world to do this, Executor. For the Corporation!”

“Aye… things are looking up. There might be a need to start a very cost-effective war.” Executor Nate said as he stood up, “For the Corporation, everyone. We shall see how things plays out.”

Executor Nate stood on the podium for an important announcement. The press was viewing him at his best angle. In fact, the NNN has been stirring up the people against LexCo and all their wrongdoings, making the people wish that they will pay LexCo a visit in their own home turf. Several rumors, all started by NNN, suggested that LexCo was trying to avenge their loss by using missile strikes against Oscalantine’s Encrypted Cities. If this press conference did not settle things, A Population Vote might be put in place to start the war by force.

Nate stood in the podium with much joy. There was going to be a war that will repay all the war efforts.

I am here, however, to make an important announcement. Oscalantine has retreated from Hijima Islands in hopes that our loss of good faith in the international community has been solved. Indeed, it has become as such. Our bad relationship with Gracealona has been resolved, and EU’s forces are not as interested in flexing their military power as we have previously expected.

Just as we were content with what we had, we were hit hard with another great news: LexCo officials have gone to hide in Hijima, their home, and went under the protection of HLF. And although unconfirmed, there are reports of LexCo officials are preparing missile strike on Oscalnaitne homeland.

While we were once content in leading Hijima Island to be annexed by our friend Edo Edi Essum, we can no longer watch as the clock ticks to midnight. EEE forces are far outstretched and although destroyed, the old might of Hijima is too great for one nation to fully control. And of course, I would be lying if Oscalantine did not want oil. Therefore, after a great deliberation, I have decided to declare our first declaration of war.

Oscalantine declares War on Hijima Liberation Front as well as Lexicon Corporation for their potential threat in the Oscalantine mainland. As of now, approximately 200,000 soldiers from Stragerian Fortress will be deployed. Oscalnatine navy will also commence military operations to land in Hijima’s northern areas to pacify HLF and capture LexCo officials.

I would ask the government of EEE to cooperation with this endeavor. As much as EEE’s military might is to be feared, the number of HLF is too great for any lone nation to take on alone. Therefore, I ask that part of Hijima be taken by Oscalantine and that EEE shares hold of Hijima with Oscalantine to not only quickly secure the island, but also to prevent further loss of lives of EEE army. If such position is not favorable… I am afraid to say that Oscalantine will not be backing off from our actions at this time.

Oscalantine’s military was preparing for a conflict. 10 TheCorporate Aircraft Carriers, 50 units of TSD Corvettes, 20 Threatener Frigates, and 75 LifeLine Patrol Boats are to escort 200,000 National Army to the Hijima Waters. In this operation, the National Army is including 250 Dynasty 4WD, 500 Beta7 2WD, 100 GattlerTom Mobile Turret, 75 Merman Amphibious Tank, 150 Britherian Main Battle Tank, 20 Barnibas SmartGuidance Artillery, and 300 AeroDown Anti-Air Platform in their war efforts. They will be getting support from 15 FairyTale Submerged Weapons Platform and 15 Maokao SmartGuidance Heavy Artillery from the nearby islands during the initial landing operations.

The sky will also be littered with Oscalantine’s airforce. Although Oscalantine lacks fighters, Oscalantine has a decent air-to-ground weapons systems that are willing to downpour Hijima’s fortifications with long-ranged bombing. 50 AAXII UAVS will be partaking to defend the sky as well as dish out tactical missile strikes. The Air Platform Division is also deploying with 100 InsaneSue Gunship, 75 JokesOnU Mobile Weapons Station, 15 Pikaboo Heavy Transport and 100 UJest Light Transport to support the ground troops from air. 15 ICU Spy Chopper will also be surveying the area with help of ARXX UAVS.

There are also rumors surrounding Oscalantine, as usual. There are some news that Oscalantine will be field testing two of the newest UCVS, both of which Oscalantine has been developing for years. There are rumors of the Unmanned Sea Vehicle Systems arriving along with FoolKill to suppress the potential HLF navy, and there are also rumors of AutomatonCarpetI being deployed around the Hijima Islands to test out the new bomber capability of these new automated machineries. There are also rumors of nearly 1,000 members of Corporate Army being deployed along with National Army to assassinate the high commands of HLF and to arrest LexCo officials.

I have debated and brooded over your suggestions. Indeed, EEE’s monopoly of oil seems a little… disturbing. And what you say is true: all economic suggestions leads to prices of oil being controlled entirely by EEE, who already has nearly 90% of our oil imports. With an added plus… this conflict has caused us to move our naval army around with great haste, causing us to utilize over 40% of our oil reserve without any profit. This movement has been… especially inefficient, and I believe that if we can secure the oil fields in Hijima things will look up, and we can manage the loss made by this military action.

I half-heartedly accept your proposal. Regardless, Oscalantine is more focused on fighting off HLF and securing our portion of the oil fields. If EU wishes to come in and take care of EEE, Oscalantine military will not interfere. We will be occupied with the sheer number of Hijimian troops to secure a proper offensive against EEE. Rasvidi can proceed in offensive against EEE-ruled Hijima Island without fear of Oscalantine retaliation. Our naval forces will allow Rasvidi navy to pass without any resistance… and our submarines will not fire upon the EU military if you so chose to land in Hijima. If you so kindly clear the land with us, Oscalnatine will agree to the treaty of splitting the Hijima land claims.

Gracealona will step back from entering Hijjma for now but its forces will remain on the Rasvidi Islands while I work out a battle plan with Rasvidi. Umm what else, ah yes I will also agree to joint control of the oil as Ras suggested and declare an intent to work with Osca forces in Hijjma or at very least not fire upon or interfere with their combat operations.
