The Gracemaria Peace Talks

General Iroh was furious. The purpose of these talks was to promote peace, not start another war. Already millions of people lay dead - how many more must needlessly die? He sighed. There was only one thing to do, though. He was bound by the IR-NX401 Accords, and Gen. Reitz would agree.

He stood and spoke directly to EEE Lt. MFA Johnson.

"Any attack upon NX401 will result in the declaration of war upon your nation by the Democratic States of Isis Rakael. Tread carefully, Minister."

He sat back down and gritted his teeth. It was all so pointless. So much war and death. He shook his head and left the conference room briefly to make a call.

"May I suggest a brief break?" asked Lt. MFA Johnson. He did not wait for affirmation and followed Gen. Iroh out of the room. Despite the LMFA's brief lack of courtesy, the hiatus was greatly appreciated by all of the delegates.

Iroh had not yet reached whichever official he was calling. The general was waiting impatiently, clearing very frustrated. Johnson said calmly, "The Edesu military is run by the borderline-paranoid. They're won't actually be another war. EEE wouldn't want to piss off NX401 or Isis Rakael. Also, I believe the siege in the Rasvidi Islands could be peacefully ended today. Rasvidi might even be able to keep both islands."

Both Ovseyenko and Stasova sat in stunned silence after the delegates from NX401 stormed out of the chambers. Neither had come even close to anticipating this sudden change of attitude and events; the tide seemed to be going their way, though, so who were they to fight it? Their most powerful foe had just become a potential ally. They knew this business was not over, but now it could wait. There was no more immediate threat from the North Sea. Ovseyenko rose and spoke a few words before exiting with Stasova.

"Comrade Albinoni, I want just as much as anyone to see lives spared here in Terragon. Like I have said before, however, my nation will never give up it's sovereign territory without a fight. So here is my suggestion to you: If you believe in compassion, and in getting the best for your citizens, then I suggest you back out of this conflict and end the standoff in the Islands. The combined economic and military power of Rasvidi, NX401 and Isis Rakael dwarfs that of you and your allies. This conflict has suddenly become terribly one-sided.

I sincerely wish that no further harm comes to your citizens or mine, and I hope that you and your allies feel the same way. This does not need to progress. This war can end right now if you want it to, but at this point in the conflict, the decision is up to your government.

Long Live the Revolution."

Ovseyenko and Stasova both gave patriotic salutes to the other delegates before exiting the chambers and making their way back to the airport.

[Well it looks like everyone has left but I'm just going to post this and say everyone was still there so they could hear this]

President Carlton stood up
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I will keep this statement breif. Although we have prevented any damage to our homeland by staying neutral in this conflict it ment stepping back from our ally Rasvidi and leaving them to fend for themsevles. That ends now. Although I hope that EEE, KingIssac and Hijjma will dissolve their embergo of the Rasvidi Islands peacefully, the Gracealonian military is ready to end the embergo with force if required. I find it unfortunate that these talks intended to end the violence have only sparked new fights, if violence is required to end this once and for all, so be it. Rasvidi you have our support and our military is at your service. You have a rightful claim to the islands and this embergo is un-called for and ridiculous and needs to be ended now. We will stand beside Rasvidi, NX401 and Isis Rakael forces to make that happen."

"In that case, I am so sorry but I will not surrender. My husband already died because of this war, and I will never surrender!" the Queen said weakly but with conviction

The Queen then picked up her phone from her bad and called General Jiann, the chief-of-staff

"Send 800 cruisers and 1,200 destroyers to our borders. Deploy 1,500,000 soldiers on the land borders of KingIsaac. I am declaring State of Emergency. I am raising the Defense Level to RED ALERT. Prepare the nation for we are going to continue the war we tried to solve" the queen said

"Yes, Your Majesty. I will send now your Royal plane to pick you up" General Jiann replied.

After that conversation, the queen angrily went out of the meeting room and find a private place. After she found a private place, she picked up her nation video device from which she could can address the nation and overtake all channels in KingIsaac. She switched it on, and said:

"My dear citizens, the peace talk was unsuccessful. The war is going to continue. And now, I am declaring state of emergency to prevent invasions and rebellions. I am ordering all police officers and soldiers, including the Royal Bureau of Investigation, to stand by and prepare that might happen."

After saying those, the queen switched off the device and went to her plane immediately.

Fear can be seen in the faces of citizens of KingIsaac, not because they are afraid of their lives, but because the queen was bleeding.

[Are the Peace Talks still going? Anyways, the 4th and 7th Fleets are returning to the Islands. NX401, I am sorry for misinterpreting Amber's outrage as the official opinion of NX401. EEE trusts NX401. All of our ICBMs have been retargeted for Rasvid, as usual.]

[Ya, Amber was just really upset. If war was to occur,or trully being thought about, there would be an announcement for an emergency meeting held by the chancellors in which i decision would be made in a day at max. See, this is why i like three heads instead of one, so war can not be declared all of a sudden. She is one of three major opinions, but she only has 1/3 of the power and if anything needs to get passed down to the senate, it would need to be of unanimous consent by the chancellors.]

[OK. Nix all of those preparations for war with NX401 I RPed. Also, Amber can expect very angry letters from half the senate and at least one hundred technocrats. ]

hijjma is still has no intesions of war with any other nations so this war is over the islands the embagro was placed at firrst by EEE not hijjma king tony sent troops to reinforce EEE but hijjma wants those islands and is willing to battle with anyone trying to stop us
king tony states "we care not of your old war i am taking these islands and warns nations to not intefere with my affairs"

AS OF NOW HIJJMA ARMED FORCE ARE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE RASIVIDI ISLANDS

The Edesu Fourth Fleet is withdrawing to Edesu territory. The Fifth Fleet will stay on the Edesu side of the Rasvidi Islands. The Seventh Fleet will go... somewhere.
