The Holy Empire of Edo Edi Essum has recently annexed the area historically known as 'Plot 1.' The land is completely undeveloped. Edo Edi Essum wishes to build thousands of new habitations, schools, power plants, roads, military bases, churches, hospitals, industrial facilities, and other buildings to transform the land into a civilized society. Despite a massive amount of resources designated for the Herculean project, the 20-year plan is simply beyond our budget.

Edo Edi Essum begs any form of support from its neighbors, as much as possible. Any charity is greatly appreciated, be it money, skilled labor (We have recently acquired unskilled by the millions.), materials, or any possible resource imaginable. Generous discounts are also appreciated.

For those less-than-generous nations, The Holy Empire of Edo Edi Essum is willing to create a financial incentive: weaponry. As a communist nation, we produce most military equipment at 1/4 of market value. We would be willing to sell weaponry to significant international benefactors for 1/3 of market value.

When fully developed in 20 years, the EEE economy is expected to triple. Edo Edi Essum begs the financial support of all nations, even committedly secular ones. We would be very willing to accept charity on the condition of only constructing secular buildings with it. (Or practically any condition, for that manner)

Gracealona will in no way provide aid to support the expansion of communisum in Tiberiam and encourages all other nations who also oppose communist ways to follow suit. Also, we cannot even remotley comprehend how you can expect us and other nations to provide funding & aid for an expansion Edo Edo Essum carried out knowing full well their budget could not accomadate.

EEE can control Plot 1. That is not the issue.

We want to transform it to the standards of a modern European nation in 20 years. This is an ambitious goal. Any nation which wants to galvanize modern society throughout the region should support us.

Rasvidi is staunchly opposed to Edo Edi Essum and it's fiercely and criminally theistic ways. We will not offer aid, and we will condemn nations that agree to do so. The spread of such dangerous and violent ideas should not be tolerated by the nations of Terragona, and it is a dismay to Rasvidi that such things are indeed allowed to take place.

Adequate funds have been created for the next 20 years.

Well, think about it. We're communist. That means no money wasted on profit or abundant wages. The lumber in Plot 1 (which I completely fabricated to make this much easier) will be critical to construction. Really, materials are most expensive. Also, our global missionary budget will focus on Plot 1 for now on. (Still, this is extremely ambitious.)

Edo edi essum will have the full support of our nation in their expansion.

You do realize that the majority of plot 1 is desert right? I don't know if the climate map is still up but I remember that. I'm sure Ras can confirm that fact.

Anyways, I want all of EEE territory to be temperate, like France. Rasvidi already perfected my mainland to my tastes. Could he make Plot 1 temperate forests and plains? That would be extremely helpful.

I just don't think it would make sense to have oil fields in the middle of a temperate forest. The resource map is available in the claims thread, linked just below the main map. Plot 1 is not completely desert, though; there is enough arable land in the north-west portion of the plot to feed any local population.

Sorry, I thought the resource map was more accessible then it apparently is. I'll try to do something to change that, and reupload the climate map.

OK, allow me to properly beg.

If 1/2 could be forested and 1/2 could be plains, that would be absolutely perfect.

You should have checked out the maps before you went around colonizing things, I had not brought down the climate map yet before you made the claim and the resource map has always been available. It is nobodies fault but your own if you did not look at the plot more closely before claiming it.

What you *can* do is examine other plots, and abandon your current claim (which would be like giving up on a colony, which is perfectly normal) and then claim a more appropriate plot to your desires.

COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLAN

The Holy Empire of Edo Edi Essum has recently annexed the area historically known as 'Plot 1.' The land is completely undeveloped. Edo Edi Essum will build approximately one thousand new major habitations, along with hundreds of schools, power plants, roads, military bases, churches, hospitals, industrial facilities, and other buildings to transform the land into a civilized society. The 8-year plan is within our budget.

(Cost estimates have been slashed after an epiphany regarding the annex's geography. With the exception of the western coast and the NW, the annex is desert. Development will focus on these arable, milder areas. Large settlements will also be built around the many oil fields in the annex.)

When fully developed in 8 years, the EEE economy is expected to double. Edo Edi Essum plans to expand traditional industries in the homeland, urbanize the annex's coastal areas and northwest, and produce 80% of Terragon's oil. As EEE consumes almost no petroleum, the oil will be exported to foreigners who value the product. EEE will charge far steeper rates to nations which lack a vast Christian majority. Communist nations will receive a generous discount.
