Should we have a map?

So i was thinking and this is a suggestion. We should have a map for our region. What is everyone's opinion?

Well, like I said on the region message board, it would be cool but it would be a pain because it would have to be constantly updated, but if someone wanted to take on the task I'd be all for it!

And if anyone makes a map, for your reference when I founded the region I pictured it as an island about the size of New Zeland. But that might be a bit unrealistic with the number of nations in the region, so it is probably bigger.

Also, we would need to come up with a system for claiming land, maybe we could claim in the order we came to the region as that would be the order in reality.

What if the region was a continent with islands varying in defferent sizes off its coast?

Sounds good, how about a string of islands with no continent. That way we could just add and tke away islands as nations come and go. If we all like that idea I'll change the regional description to reflect this.

A common method that other regions use, is they will start off with one continent or 'region', and then add more as time goes on to accommodate more nations coming to the region. Alternatively, for a more realistic world map, perhaps only portions of the map will be available for land claims, with new areas opened up as time goes on to accommodate more nations.

I would be willing to take on this task, although if the region becomes more busy in the future it would probably be best to enlist more people to the job.
