I will explain. First, though, thank you for changing the time conversion. Under IR it used to be 1RL:4RP. Now it's 1RL:5RP. This accelerated time makes people like me very happy.
OK, now to my actual point. Oscalantine will become Super Russia, the most powerful nation our world has ever seen.
We all like expansion. The #1 limit to our expansions is existence. Simple enough. If your nation is dead, it isn't expanding or being. If you are alive, so are your expansions. I expect Osc to stay around for quite a while.
Our world is strange. We have enormous areas which are completely undeveloped and stateless. It is natural for us to fix this. Hence, we expand. However, it is more difficult for some of us to expand than others. Take me, for example.
If I want to expand, it's a huge commitment. Sure, it only takes me X days to secure the region, but that land isn't really going to be fully Edesu for at least a century. I need to subdue the heathens and feed the heathens and teach the heathens and convert the heathens. It's big work.
Osc has it easier. The most resistance he will face is a particularly angry Eskimo tribe. Once he's built some mines to extract whichever kind of ore is present... that's about it. There's not too much else to do in the arctic. Colonization achieved. Since almost no money or lives have been spent, it's time to expand again.
Osc is Super Russia. Everything east to him is stateless, arctic, and valuable. You can bet your ass he will keep expanding. There's nothing to stop him; the Northeast is vacant. Oscalantine will become massive and full of natural resources like Russia.
Oscalantine is much richer than Russia. While Russia is dirt poor, Osc is totally loaded. With state-of-the-art industry, unlimited resources, deep pockets, a population which will only go up, easy expansion, and a bitchin' military, Oscalantine is Super Russia.
Assuming Super Russia, like EEE, will be RPing in Tiberiam for years, Super Russia will not be messed with.
